I have had 3 therapists in the past year. First one was not a good fit. 2nd was favorable but had to leave for personal reasons. New one appears to be a good fit but we've just begun. My point is that this agency has not let me linger long before finding me a replacement. The psychiatrist I have is very helpful and if she doesn't know an answer, will check it out right away. Finally, the 2 regular women who check clients in are very personable.

I have been a patient at Cape Behavioral Health Center for 4 years. They provide a variety of mental health treatment including therapy, TMS (trans-magnetic stimulation) and medication. My therapy and psychiatric treatments at CBH have helped me navigate difficult circumstances and TMS treatment reduced the severity of my depression. The staff at CBH has been effective at addressing any problems that I have encountered and they've always responded to concerns quickly. I recommend Cape Behavioral Health Center to everybody.

WARNING: In the paperwork that a patient fills out, there is fine print that says they can bill you up to $400.00 WITHOUT your authorization ... and they WILL do it.

You'll get an email thanking your for your payment. It's a "no-reply" email, so you can't respond. They outsource their billing to a separate company where you'll be on hold for HOURS.

IF you get to speak with someone, it takes them DAYS to get back to you. And, if you state that you didn't authorize the payment, they'll tell you, "Yes, you did ... when you filled out the paperwork to be able to get treatment."

The company they use for billing was sued last year in the amount of 490K for over billing MassHealth.

If you can find another health organization, do so. Also, if you're able, pay for your visit in cash (or check if accepted) so that they don't have a credit card on file to charge at their convenience for hundreds of dollars without your consent.

I started out with a therapist that really didn’t work for me, and I found one that worked for me perfectly someone who really listens and gets me but also can tell me when I’m not right. It’s very important. Hold me accountable to help me change some of my habits that don’t suit me very well For this I’m grateful it isn’t always perfect, but they’re always there for me..

I have been a patient at Cape CodBehavorial Health for 8 years + seeing both a Dr and a therapist. Around last October Northeast Health Services took over - they terminated both my Dr and therapist. I have made repeated phone calls ( going on 25 but who’s counting) have had 5 appointments that were arbitrarily cancelled but I was never notified. I spoke to an employee who has worked there over the last 8 years and they finally arranged for a therapist to call me - i was told that the therapist could see me on a Wednesday or a Friday ( I work in a specialized area and it’s difficult to miss work) so I asked if they could see me on either September 18 or 30th at 5:00. I received a return call and was told that they can not book an appointment that far out - never had that problem before Northeast Health - for a company who professes to have patients best interest at heart, this is not a way to treat someone with mental health issues. Worst place ever. They DO NOT CARE - they are not interested in working out any compromise not to mention not returning calls or helping in any way.

After Terry Russo, the ignorant and unprofessional nurse practitioner, kicked me out of her office due to the fact that I advocated for myself, I was ganged up on by the abusive office staff. The manager scolded me when I said I wanted to make an appointment with a different provider and accused me of Doctor shopping. She had either looked at my medical record before I met her or Terry had told her things about me that she shouldn't have known, which is a HIPAA violation. I was given the director Karen Penta's number and told that she was out due to a death in the family but when I called to leave a voicemail she answered the phone and hung up on me.
