Food from menu not accurate 50 percent of time.
Trouble getting medical assistance. Very frustrating. Third day in a row wrong food.
Photocopied menu and showed worker. She ignored me and said, "Well, you are on a soft diet." What has that got to delivering the wrong food?
Woken nightly numerous times to attend to resident whose husband and daughter work there. Screams and hollars until she gets attention disturbing others.

There is alot of negative reviews on here about a single person which will be dealt with.however. I will say that this should not be the review of everyone. Every single person from the administration to contractors strives to make this facility a better place for everyone in this building. We are doing our best to serve and create the best possible home and Healthcare for those that are here regardless of whether they are long term or short term residents.

The woman in charge of activities- Ania McDaniels- isn't of sound mind. She purposely upsets the patients she doesn't like. I watched her antagonize another patient while visiting as I stood in the hallway. A couple trips later, a very similar sad and scary scenario was witnessed. She also talks down to staff and seems to do nothing. An assistant wanted to help a patient asking for something one day and Ania told them, "Do not bother with them. They always want something." We moved my mother after we talked to another family with bad experiences there. Please be careful who you trust your loved ones with. Wolf in sheep's clothing are volatile and out right dangerous. A lot of elderly people don't have a voice. Be their voice.

The lack of staff and management oversight in the Alzheimer's unit is astounding. We pulled my family member from this place because they were neglectful and uncoordinated. Noone read up on his health conditions or gave his pain medication properly. We found a friendly and bouncy little old woman stuck in a stairwell trying to escape. The alarms were going off and no one bothered to come. I am in healthcare and was so taken aback by this place. It was disgraceful and people should take ownership of their problems. One nurse was verbally abusive and refused to care for my family member. They should all be ashamed of themselves. A friend of mine who worked there told me other horror stories which is why she quit. Complaints were filed with management and it only led to one day of adherence to my family members protocols. Get it together Cape Heritage!!

I am a resident at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation for over three months. I have seen a few things happen that would upset anyone that was part of it. And all the things were started by a Resident not a Cape Heritage employee or the establishment. The situations were dealt with accordingly and respectively by the administrator and the director of nursing. The nursing staff are all great ladies that do very well and know what they are doing.and are always pleasant to speak with. The activities department are all great people and do extremely well with what they do.
And thankyou you for one of the nicest Christmas parties i have ever been to.

My father was in the long term care in the basement. The number of patients to staff is very high (walk around and you will see). I respect the nurses and social activity people because they really cared about the patients. The social workers, physical therapists and upper level management did not unfortunately. To them everyone is a number and check box. They lost my father’s glasses on top of it and it took months before they got us a new pair. We moved my father to BayPath in Duxbury and he is doing much better since leaving this facility. If you are thinking about long term care I would not recommend.

My mother in law was taken to the cape heritage after she fell and re-fractured her hip. She was in constant pain and we were referred to this place.

Well let me tell you that these guys really value her stay $$$. They go to any extent to keep her there as long as they can. Even after the doctor released my mother in law and we secured 24 hour watch so she is never alone, they withheld her pain medication saying they can not get ahold of the doctor in the middle of the day. My mother in law is really upset. they pay no attention to her and her well being. my wife needs to be by her bedside to get her 87 year old mother medication and they are keeping her at their facility against her will for the weekend because it pays.

Stay away from this place.

My husband is inn the basement unit and I feel he is definitely not getting the proper care. On one Sunday it took me 6 hours trying on the phone to talk to him (it went unanswered). I also cannot believe they have no social/case workers. Poorly run establishment.

On 2/17 the nurse reminded Drew to tell me he needed more clothes. Just 3 weeks ago I brought in a green garbage bag full of everything he needed (sweatpants, sweatshirts, chamois shirts, t-shirts, boxer shorts, plenty of socks, and slippers. Where in the heck are all of his clothes going. Don't they wash them and bring back to the right patients. Just another example of poor oversight of personnel.

Why in gods name are the patients answering the phone in the Tupper Unit. This is totally unacceptable and will be reported to the appropriate agencies.
