My father has had excellent care at Cape Regency. He is on the second floor for hospice care. The CNAs and nurses truly care about their patients and have become friends with my dad while he is there. Even while his health is declining, he smiles when his favorite staff enter the room. They go the extra mile to make sure he is not scared or upset-including holding his hand, singing to him and calling me to talk with him. Even when not assigned to him, many CNAs and nurses stop in before or after a shift to see how he is doing.

When I need to spend many hours there, staff make sure I have something to drink and a guest tray if needed. They hired a new director of food services recently and the food has been good.

The staff makes sure to call me if my father needs me and consulted with the VNA Hospice team and the Regency’s in-house doctor and nurse practitioner to make sure that my dad’s medication needs were met.

Jackie, the social worker, made my dad feel empowered and heard and he always spoke glowingly of her.

Residents have daily activities they can participate in and the activities staff deliver mail and come around to see residents as well. They have a beautician come on Tuesdays and my dad enjoyed getting his hair cut.

Overall, I know my dad is well cared for and feels safe and secure while at Cape Regency.

It is not easy taking care of people. My husband is at Cape Regency Rehabilitation in Centerville receiving compassionate quality care. All of the staff is to be recognized for the work they do. Cape Regency functions professionally in all aspects. The doctor, nurses, physical therapists are serious about their responsibilities. They are also personable, open to discussion and happy workers. It is unusual to come across a grumpy worker.
The facility interior is always clean, odor free and organized.
The building needs updating in some areas. All good things in time.
Most important, the care is superior, the food is excellent, activities are varied and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly.

I’ve never spent any time in a “rest home” atmosphere before! I just had veinous/arterial grafting from head to toe. Rather scary at 63!
Cape Regency, its employees in every position were all extremely kind, professional as well what a super organized business! If you have to be in this type of situation, Cape Regency is a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10!!!

The care my family member has received at Cape Regency over the past year has been exceptionally good. As a geriatric nurse care manager, I am familiar with various care settings throughout Cape Cod. I have observed compassionate care from many staff members at Cape Regency towards my loved one and our family. Residents are well cared for and requested needs are promptly met. The physical building may be showing it’s age, but the quality of care received from nursing, therapy and social work departments has given us peace of mind that our loved one is in caring hands when we cannot be with her. We are grateful for your warmth during a difficult time.

An absolute nightmare. If you're looking for a location to shoot a horror film, this is the place. Runned down, literally falling apart facility, furnished with nothing but scary leftover ancient thrift store furniture. Peeling paint around many areas of the randomly taped up walls, along with severely scuffed up, banged up rooms and with what looks like pee stained floors. The bed are covered in dingy ripped up bedding that looks at least 50 years old. There was literally a ratty hand crocheted old used up blanket at the end of the bed I was afraid to even touch. The room with "air conditioning" was literally hotter than it was outside. 1st night's Dinner choice was either A HOT DOG OR A HAMBURGER! That's it. Let's not forget the VERY out of it patients left to roam the halls freely, screaming and moaning and swearing at people as they walked by. Much closer to a mental hospital for the forgotten elderly than a center for health and well being. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES THERE! It should be shut down.

Carol is the reason I keep smiling about this place! She is very caring. and as the Ambassador checks with the residents to see how they are doing and if they have any issues. She works diligently to resolve problems and checks back with residents to make certain they are happy with the resolution.
She always has a kind word and never shies away from tough problems. She has resolved tough conflicts between residents as well.
She has given showers to residents when needed and is a ray of sunshine here. She should be recognized for her
Service from the facility some how.

Feel confident when these staff are on w my loved one who is here ! Petra nurse will fu on questions

Kathleen the Unit Coordinator on 2 is great !!!

It would be nice if all staff could be as great as these wonderful ones !! These are exceptional and go above n Beyond

The Dietician Lisa came up today & nice too
so great to meet her !! n activity asst nice !!!

There are a few updates and building upkeep issues on 2 that could be beneficial to a less
drab type appearance .
Some broken things need some repair & better
upkeep !!

The great people I mentioned really make the place what it can be for a person like My relative who had a stroke and needs to be there

I was recently on the Rehab floor and thought it was not a perfect stay, I had a good experience. Petune my CNA was amazing and Petra my nurse was so good to me. Staff is friendly. I also made friends with other patients. I would return if I needed to.
