I knew this place had existed for years but never visited until today. Fortunately it was only six and a half blocks from my house so it was very convenient. I had pondered other locations but am glad I selected this location. This 2920 Telegraph Avenue location had easy street parking or walking distance.

I was pleasantly surprised by the interior decor and the size of the waiting area and access to masks and disinfectant solution. I noticed the interior was spotless from waiting area to examination and restrooms.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the policies and procedures of Carbon Health Medical Group. The attending nurse and doctor were efficient and spot-on with answers, questions, and accurate diagnosis of my condition. After less than six hours after leaving the facility, I am feeling better already and able to return to work.

Very friendly front desk person. The medical assistant was also very personable and listened intently to my issue. I felt like the doctor really understood the potential gravity of my situation and responded as such with her treatment plan. There was very little wait time. My wife referred me here because she had a great experience the day after she moved here. This was a radically different and positive experience than other urgent care visits I have had in other states.

1) Fast quick blood pressure and temp/waiting. Also checked wounds. Listened to heart.

2) Time was taken to be sure i understand my conditions. Covered and discussed what was discussed. Doing so probably paid off with better understanding conditions.

3) Options were provided to me as options that could course. Options made sense after taking a few moments to validate selections

I visited this location for my annual physical, during which the doctor prescribed a lab test as part of preventive care. However, they incorrectly billed it under a non-preventive diagnosis, causing me to incur a deductible. After reviewing the issue, my insurance company confirmed that the error originated from the doctor’s office.

Despite reaching out to Carbon multiple times over the past nine months, they have been unable to correct the billing code to reflect preventive care. Their inability to resolve such a basic administrative issue raises serious concerns about their professionalism and competence. How can patients trust a healthcare provider that cannot even submit an accurate bill?

After 10 calls and countless follow-ups, my bill remains incorrect. This entire experience has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing.

The practitioner I met quickly decided, without any test of my eye mucus, that the eye mucus problem I had was conjunctivitis--caused by bacterial infection. She prescribed for me an antibiotic pills. I am weary of using antibiotics unless absolutely necessary. I waited for Monday to pick up the medication. During the weekend my eyes cleared on their own. I'm really glad I didn't use meds provided by the practitioner at the Urgent Care.

I flew into California from Colorado and experienced some fluid plugging my ear during the flight, my son was currently at home with an ear infection so I'm like what are the odds that I would have one as well. I was able to get into the Urgent care at Carbon health and was seen after they returned from their lunch break. I had a diagnosis of an ear infection within minutes and a prescription filled within an hour. I was able to start antibiotics within two hours of being seen. Kind caring staff.

The space and people I encountered with very nice to me. My dissatisfaction is that they did not have an xray machine and that is the only reason why I sent to urgent care. All in all it was about 3 hours and I left very disappointed. Due to a new order of boots where no one was shown how to use them and no picture included or youtube video, 3 staff people could not put it on. While the third woman was trying, I said why don't you use an ace bandage which she did.I really feel I needed a boot because I can barely walk and my foot is more swollen. But this is no reflection on the three women who tried.

This excellent walk-in clinic was extremely professional, always polite, and very efficient. Virtually every professional with my head contact would get an “A” for both professionalism and friendly accommodating attitude. I would go to this clinic anytime I have a walk-in medical need.
