Very disappointed after searching around for an optometry office to purchase my glasses. Read the reviews which seemed good but when my husband and I walked in we were not sat down at a table as you would normally when you walk into an optometry office to order glasses and discuss fees etc One person was there helping 4 people and my husband ordered progressive lenses, the measurement was taken while the staff was standing up and his head was not straight. I told the staff his head is not straight and she said it’s fine. Hoping when his glasses finally come in there is no issue with the measurements. Be careful with the signage they have posted near the checkout. I asked if the brown polarized lenses don’t work out for me do they have a 30 day return policy? She said you only can exchange lenses not the frame and pointed out the sign. I read it and it says nothing about the frame. I’m glad I asked. In other words THEY DO NOT HAVE A 30 DAY GUARANTEE. I work in Optometry and I cannot believe how unprofessional this place is. We felt like we were buying something off a rack. We never sat down to go over the fees etc
When you purchase sunglasses they use what is on the display unless you request a new one. It’s been 4 weeks and our glasses are still not ready. I feel bad for the people that don’t work in this field who would not know what to ask or look for. As much as you are in need of ordering your glasses I would not recommend this place. I should have listened to the small percent that gave a bad review. The person who helped us was nice but the experience was horrible. We wanted to make this place our Optometry to bring in our outside prescriptions but never again will we be back after we pick up our glasses whenever that is.

So I starting going to this place since March 2023 because it’s close to my place. The optometrist Nguyen was very pleasant and attentive to my needs. I’m writing this review is for the 2 very unpleasant experiences I received the 2nd time I came to this establishment. I came back for a visit this past April because my vision seemed a little blurry, but I received a very unpleasant and upsetting experience. I came in to check my eyes and was notified that I will need a new pair of glasses due to an increased in my prescription, which I did. While waiting to finalize paperwork, I asked one of the girl employee if she can tighten my old glasses that I was using. Unfortunately, she broke the frame in the process but promised me that the store will replace a new pairs of glasses for me. I asked “are you sure?” and she said “yes”. I asked “are you sure it’s free because if it’s not then it’s ok”. I asked this because I was afraid the insurance won’t cover since I just got a new pairs of glasses while I didn’t want to pay out of pocket. Fortunately, she reassured me that it’s free because it’s her fault and that I have nothing to worry about. So after finishing all the paperwork I went home. When I came back on Thursday (5/23) or Friday (5/24) to pick up my new glasses, the staff told me the replacement glasses are not ready yet. However, the new glasses’s frame broke while I was driving on the freeway on my way to work. That scared me because my vision is 5.25/3.75 so I can’t see clearly without my glasses and I was in the middle of the 710 freeway. I took a video and pictures after I exited the freeway then called them as soon as they opened to report the problem. I told them I can’t come into the store until Tuesday since my work schedule from Saturday & Sunday was 7-7pm and Monday was Memorial holiday. Finally Tuesday came and I immediately went to the establishment to showed them the broken frame and they agreed to replace it. They also gave me my replacement glasses that their employee broke while adjusting my glasses. However, when I checked out the replacement glasses, I noticed that the replacement glasses does not have the thin lens and the anti-glare like the glasses their employee broke. When I complained, one of their employee said since I didn’t do my old glasses from them, they’re only responsible to replace a new frames and lens and not the cost to make the lens thin or for the anti-glare. I argued that it’s their own fault since they broke my property and they need to replace it the same way as the old glasses. In addition, their girl employee that broke my glasses told me after she broke it that I will receive a new glasses like same as my old one “free of charge”. However, they put in a prior authorization to my insurance to cover for the broken glasses so technically they didn’t pay anything. The girl employee that refused me told me she is a professional whose cut and prepare glasses. I asked multiple times to speak to a manager but she told me she has the authority to handle my complain. I am tired of going back and forth with her so now I’m just writing this review while waiting for my glasses that has the frames broken. I have been wearing glasses for more than 30 years and this is the first time I have ever received such callous treatment from an optometrist office. I hope their “real” management read this and talk to their employees how to treat the customers respectfully. Also, if the establishment damage a person’s property, they should replace it the same as the one that they damaged.

Horrible! Seriously.
1st time trying the place because it’s in convenient proximity to my house. I was disappointed from the start and continue to be disappointed. Showed up to my appointment and they “forgot” to book my daughter with me. So we had to reschedule. Came back and was 🥴when I saw how old the equipment was once we got back to then exam area. However, frames were decent so I decided to just finish it up and be done. Well I’ve been waiting months for my frames. By the time they come in it will be time for my next exam. They don’t return phone calls…..ever. I have to physically go in to get answers. They have given me the same lame excuse several times “they will be ready in a couple weeks”
Will not be returning here.

I highly recommend Carson Vision. I didn’t have an eye exam here, but I brought in my prescription and was able to get some glasses that I really liked. Staff was VERY helpful, not pushy at all, very professional, friendly, and go above and beyond to help get what you want/need. I want to commend Leslie, specifically, she’s the one who helped me out the most and she’s the reason I’m writing this review. Highly recommend.

I had a good experience during my eye exam. Everyone was very nice and kind. I had no problems and would recommend them. Dr. Annie was great, she took her time and explained everything. They do require you to wear a mask.

Very,very bad service....bad attitude 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 2024 I went again and they don't change...... Very bad service, three months to give me my glasses and they don't work for me because it's not my number. I've already been to the
doctor three times and the second doctor lady who saw me was very rude......just Estephany is nice person... and I recomenden more people and they don't made somethime good.
