(BUREAUCRACY)...... The truth is that being a Church of Catholic Charities, its care officials from whom we ask for help provide such a slow service, perhaps because they have few workers compared to the number of people we ask for help.... But the truth is that they have a hard time paying good attention... Delays... lost papers... deconcentration... and a lot of lack of understanding.... They work badly and then accuse you of not having done the tasks well when they have been the ones to blame... of multiple errors...

***IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE FROM THIS PLACE RECORD YOUR CALLS! KEEP YOUR EMAILS! AS WELL STAY ON THEIR NECKS. ANY COMPLAINTS SEND THEM TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND IRS***. I sent all the info and proof to them because someone needs to look into this location alone with those workers. If I could give zero stars I would. CC on Jensen Dr has got to be the worst! They lie for one. I applied for assistance with CC in October of 2024. I was contacted by Ms. Hilda Evans 11/13/ stated I would need to send all the documents she requesting before 11/15 I sent the requested documents no later than 15 minutes. Went to the rental office to notify the assistant manager that CC is willing to help and that they needed the W9 form. I called back no answer. I attempted to call as well as email her with no response. Hours later she picks up and confirmed she received the documents from me and the rental office. On the 14th I reached out to see if there was anything else she needed. Hilda said another picture of my ID was needed. I sent it again. . I called and asked was I good on all my documentation, she stated that they W9 form the rental office sent her was out of date and needed to be up to date. Yet didn't communicate with my rental office or me that the form was not up to date. As I was on my way to the office she stated if I needed November and December taken care of, she would need all the correct documents sent before the November 15th. In the rental office with my phone on speaker it was confirmed by Ms. Evans and the assistant manager that the form was correct. I spoke with Hilda on the 15th she stated she didn’t need anything else. Monday the 18th called for an update to for my apt complex. Stated all she needed was the past due utility bill again, sent it. The 21st I reached just to be told, she tells me that the forms signed and sent she needs again sent one by one. I verified with her on the 14th that she had got the all the requested documents back. If I never would have reached out first, I would've never known. I went to the actual physical location, and they do not let you talk to any case workers. A male receptionist at the front told me that he knew her and would reach out to see what was going on. I called on the 2nd until she picked up. Now I’m being charged daily because of their lack of communication. I spoke with Vanessa Vasquez which is Hilda Evan’s supervisor. She didn’t want to hear what I had to say, kept defending Hilda. I asked her if she wanted the recorded calls, emails, phone log. She continued to ignore that part. I asked her were their calls recorded where she can go back and listen. Stated she didn’t know and Hilda was the only caseworker. Also stated she doesn’t know when the check was dated or sent it. They don’t track the payments they send out. It don’t make sense. I feel that they were trying to hold the funds for someone else and was hoping I wouldn’t be on top of it. I’ve caught them in so many lies it’s ridiculous. This is for location 326 S Jensen dr Houston Tx 77003. Then I get email from my rental office on 12/26 that CC never agreed to that amount which was a lie I caught them in and all the sudden they made a mistake. Below is attached phone log, some of the emails and transcript. Do yourself a favor and keep all your paper trail. Keep up with them even if they say you’re good they lie and I mean often! Record your calls! Report if need be!

Someone needs to look into this organization, I filled out an application for rental assistance, I got an call back from Hilda, and all she gave was attitude and deadlines that were rushed. After sending everything needed but one form. I was told today, that I wouldn't be receiving rental assitance for November!! due to my county . Me and my landlord were patient and turned everything that was asked for.
when your put in a place to help people, your supposed to do exactly that, they need to change the name of their organization, there was nothing Godly about the way Mrs Hilda talked and treated me and my family, I'm writing this because I don't want to see people like me that are in desperate need of help with their rent to ask this horrible organization for help, you will be in a worser place, dealing with these people. I literally had to chase Hilda down just to get told no after weeks of sending everything. Now I am behind on November Rent and I have late fees. Thanks for nothing.

If I can put 0 , I will. I resigned over a month , and I still have not received my mileage and parking fees reimbursed ! I emailed Human Resources , vice president including accountant and supervisors with no response . That’ s one of the reason I left the organization , they have bad communication and employees never have their rights . A big question comes up to my mind how they call themselves working in social work and receives funds to help other's?

NO HELP. I applied for assistance soon after Hurricane Beryl came through. I received an email on July 17th stating they would call me, after providing my contact details and they never did. Have not followed up to my emails I sent, and when I called weeks ago, stated something about still making calls. They lied and seem they pick and choose who they give assistance to.
