Everyone is so nice and friendly. Even though this was my first visit, I felt very comfortable. I was able to get a full set of X-rays and the evaluation. I didn’t need to come back for a second visit. The hygienist was thorough but gentle. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Since my long-term dentist retired, I have been to 4 dentists. Every one of the first 3 had very sophisticated equipment, pushed me to have procedures I wasn't interested in, and were very expensive. I was thrilled to find Dr. Moore, who wasn't in the least like that. Consequently, at my appointment last week, I was dismayed to find x-rays were to be taken. I told the technician I would prefer not to have that, and she told me it was required by state law. I've since researched that, and the law only applies to orthodontists, not dentists.
I was also shocked at what I was charged. I would like to continue going to Cayucos Dental, but I only want to have x-rays and to be checked by a dentist when I have a problem, so I am not charged for unnecessary procedures.
