Showed up and was greeted by Jenny who described what she considered their best room so well that we upgraded and were so happy we did. The room exceeded our expectations. The view was incredible. The bed was comfy and the fireplaces added a great touch of atmosphere. The spa tub was phenomenal and the modern details were exceptional. Great restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast provided and the service by Gretchen and the kitchen staff made us leaving for breakfast completely unnecessary. The entire staff was so helpful with local sightseeing and places to hike. Beautiful room with views and a very welcoming staff. We will be back.

Highly recommended staying here. My wife and i took a trip for two nights to Cayucos and loved our room at this place. To say the staff was nice is an understatement. The room was beautiful especially the view of the ocean. The room was also well maintained and clean. The staff went above and beyond the night before my wife’s birthday and left a birthday card for her and a mini bouquet of flowers. They also wished my wife a happy birthday the morning of her birthday. The breakfast sent to your room option was a great choice. The food was tasty. Everything exceeded our expectations. The property was very quiet and we were able to get good quality sleep. We will definitely see you again in the future. Thank you for everything.

The service was amazing! Our rooms were clean, well appointed, comfortable bed, and had everything we needed. The cookies in the evening were perfect. The breakfasts were delicious and it was nice not having to hunt down a place to eat first thing in the morning. We did go out for an espresso before breakfast. A great place to get rest! Even tho it is on the main street through town, it was very quiet! Thank you!

My husband and I have spent 18 years exploring the California Central Coast on special occasions and this was our first time in Cayucos and the Sunset Inn B&B. We really did not know what to expect because we have had our share of not so great experiences. But to say the least, our visit at The Cayucos Sunset Inn is now on our top best experiences. The rooms were super clean and cozy. The bath tub was amazing and roomy. The breakfasts in the morning were beautifully presented, hearty and delicious. And the fresh cookies left at our door each night, really punctuated the day. We felt cared for. And when a place gets the art of hospitality right, it really sets the stage for a true getaway. We hope to be back over and over again, for years to come.

What a LOVELY and peaceful bed & breakfast...and only a 60-second walk to the ocean! I was so happy with my stay there on my route from NorCal to SoCal, that I cancelled my return reservation in Cambria and booked another room here on my way home. Both rooms were extremely clean & comfortable with spa tubs, fireplaces, and sliding glass doors leading to patios where I could hear the distant ocean waves. The beds were super comfy: I slept like a baby there, which is unusual for me when I'm on the road, staying in a new place. ||The breakfast was exquisite: a choice of frittata with potatoes and bacon or sausage, served with fresh-baked muffin, coffee and OJ, or a cherry-stuffed cream cheese waffle with bacon or sausage, fresh fruit, muffin...BOTH were next-level YUMMINESS! ||The service staff was exceptionally kind, courteous and helpful from check-in to check-out. I HIGHLY recommend my new go-to-Bed & Breakfast in the sleepy town of Cayucos on the beautiful central coast!

Wife and I stayed for two nights with our 7 month old infant. The rooms were very well-insulated for sound, thankfully, since we didn't want our child's crying to bother others. We enjoyed the extra large jet bath, the RO water was great for making formula, and the sink next to it was perfect for rinsing bottles.||Breakfast was well above average as well -- both the frittata and french toast we had were thoroughly delicious. Service was very friendly, and we would definitely come back to stay again!

We had an absolutely beautiful four night stay recently. Everyone at the Inn were friendly and helpful. They reacted to every need and with a smile! We enjoyed the breakfast and being able to pick the items and the time the day before. The room was excellent and comfortable with so many extras. We had absolutely no complaints and will be staying there again on our next trip to Cayucos.

Cayucos Sunset Inn Bed & Breakfast was awesome. We went there for our anniversary. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Sunset room. It was just great. The view from the balcony was beautiful. This is the best place we have ever stayed at.
Cayucos is a really nice little town. And a short ride to Hearst castle.
I spent over a month reading reviews and found this place. So glad i found it. Also the food was great! Excpecialy the fresh blueberry muffins!!!
This is a must stay at place!!!
