This place is so sad, we went to drop off stockings for the residents my sister in law made over 100 stockings as she has been doing for the last 5 years only to get kicked out and have the cops called on her. These stockings were pre approved by the activity’s coordinator. It’s unbelievable how rude and not a care by this one staff member her name is Joy, and on this day she was not joyful at all. It only leaves me to believe if this is how she was with us I can only imagine how she is with all the patients there. I want to give you a little history why my sister in law has been doing this. My father n law May he rest in peace passed away back in 2020 he was a resident there, and ever since 2020 she has been going back and giving a little joy during Christmas time she dedicates hours into sowing stockings and gathering supply’s to fill the stockings and only to be driven out like an Animal. If i could leave zero stars I would. Beware of this place. Beware of Joy the RN. This has never happened before all the past years I have been greeted with kindness she is new there I have never seen her before.

I am posting this post for my sister. This is what my nephew is going through at Cedar Mountain: It’s truly concerning that so many five-star reviews seem to come from employees of Cedar Mountain, rather than from actual families of the patients. I highly doubt these same staff members would be singing praises if their own loved ones were here. Sadly, my son has been at Cedar Mountain for over a year with minimal improvement.

The case manager has been a major issue. She presents herself as compassionate and invested, but her actions tell a different story. It’s taken her months just to order a wheelchair, and when it comes to medical referrals, it’s a mess. Appointments have been a complete waste of time because she consistently fails to send the necessary medical records and scans. I've even received feedback from doctors' offices that the paperwork is incomplete. Instead of taking accountability, she blames the medical records department. This kind of neglect is unacceptable.

The facility itself is unsanitary. Patients' urine is left on the hallway floors for far too long, and the place often reeks. While a few nurses have shown genuine care, the majority of the staff seems indifferent. Therapy is no better — my son receives services for about six weeks, only to have them cut off due to minimal progress. It feels like they’re just going through the motions without a real focus on meaningful improvement.

I’ve spoken to other families, and many have said their loved ones improved more at home than at Cedar Mountain. Instead of progressing, patients here remain stagnant from the day they arrive. Before considering this facility, I strongly urge you to read reviews, take a tour, and ask all the tough questions. There's much more to say, but for now, I can’t in good conscience recommend Cedar Mountain. They don’t deserve even one star, but it was the only way I could post this review.

Excellent staff and PT department. Josh, Mike , and Christine in PT are patient and encouraging. They bring the patients in together to build support for each other. They. Have been able to assist my mom in her recovery from surgery and general mobility in a short period of time . The nurses and CNA’s are friendly and address my mother with a gentleness and respect. This facility is run with compassionate leadership. Juliene not only checks on her staff throughout the day but talks to the residents by name. The entertainment room was full of activities all creatively themed. I am confident and comfortable with the care my mom is receiving at this facility .

My sister is in their care or shall I say "non" care. Not very helpful. They're refusing her medication in which will cause severe withdrawals. Social services lady does not get back to you. And they haven't cleaned her or her linens (even after she used the restroom)

I've been living here for a year and a half, and this place is great. They have some really great CNAs, nurses, respitory therapists, and housekeeping, and maintenance. there food is a little bland but that can't be helped as some people like me aren't allowed salt. but they really do try there best here, some patients are just really demanding.

Couple of the supposed CNAs in here have been downright abusive. From withholding subscription meds to not cleaning my immediate area and not dumping my "pee container". Very bad attitudes. I'm in here waiting for Chemo to start and I'm flat on my back waiting for a med I asked for over 2 hours ago. Going to another hospice place soon and never, never this place again. C.A. in Yucaipa.

This place deserves no stars. The majority of the people working there are the least professional and the most uncivilized individuals I have ever had the misfortune to encounter in a medical setting. They will take revenge if you do something they don't like, even if what they did was wrong. The only overall decent departments are Rehabilitation and Maintenance. At least half of the daytime and all of the nighttime Nursing staff need to be either put on Probation or outright fired. The only way that anything will ever be done about this place will be if a patient dies and it can be proven that it was due to Staff negligence or ignorance.

Cedar Mountain Post acute is the best facility I visit many facilities and this building is wonderful, kind, and very helpful. The staff truly cares when you interact with the patients they are happy and engaged. I would send a loved one there with no hesitation. Staffing is involved and always puts the needs of their patients first above all else. I cannot say enough about this place. In particular the Activities Director does an outstanding job and goes out of his way for all the residents. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents interested. Maybe there is no place like home, but this is pretty close. He treats the residents with kindness and respect they deserve. Thank you to everyone that makes this place special.
