I was hospitalized for two weeks for a surgery on my leg. I'm having a really hard time dealing with things and I cannot even walk yet. I've had visits from two nurses Skyler and Cathie.
The compassion, professionalism, tact and class they have shown me is unbelievable. These ladies know what they're doing and they like doing it. NEVER before have I been treated so kindly and thoughtful, even in the hospital, they weren't as kind to me.
But these ladies get 10 stars from me. You are in fine hands with them.

My husband and I were blessed to receive excellent hospice care for one month. There was great communcation, prompt and efficient service and supplies, and always, there was kindness and consideration for our needs. Now that John has passed, I find that I will miss the frequent visits for bathing and nursing care, and the kind helpful visitations. I am thankful that the service includes continuing help for all of John's loved ones as we grieve. Roger, Alex, Ronna, Brent, Brooke, Amber and Trevor and all the staff (sorry, I know I have missed a few names!) who helped us this past month - THANK YOU, WE APPRECIATE YOU ALL! Love, PattyAnn

Extremely disappointed in how my mother SUFFERED because the left hand was not speaking with the right hand and they didn’t have the medicine ordered and called to say it would be available in a week when my mother had 72 hours to live. She was in dire pain for 48 hours. It was a nightmare experience. Hospice called to check in the family 4 days after her demise. Really disappointed… and would not recommend them to anyone with a soul. My mother screamed for 48 hours and we could do nothing to comfort her…. Their excuse was it was the weekend. Well people die 24/7… inexcusable… when calling them the untrained person answering the phone had no idea what we were speaking about… glad their nurses got to rest on the weekend that my mother was passing in agony - I sleep and only hear my mothers cry for help that’s the memory they left my family with. She was praying here to die from the pain..

I'm currently 4 days post-op and not happy about certain things done or not done and happy with others. Their communication with me is great! Their preparedness is awful!! So just out of curiosity, I checked their reviews. I notice the employees or past employees seem rather happy with CCHH however, the patients are absolutely not! That's a balancing act I recommend be addressed and best sooner than later. We'll see how my visit goes today...
Update: If I could give a rating on a specific person rather than a business, I'd rate my CCHH Nurse a 5 star!! Nicole arrives prepared, has excellent comminication, knowledge, cleanliness, she is prepared and very conscientious in her care. Thank you so much Nicole.

My recently deceased wife was recently admitted to the home hospice program. The service we received was exceptional. All our interactions with Staff were positive. Whenever we had a question or a request, it was addressed promptly. We live in rural Cayucos and were surprised and pleased to find that deliveries were often made on the same day they were requested by the nurse. Thanks very much for a job well done.

I think the service is good but the nurses are untrained and unresponsive. My father in law recives health care from these people and is now in the hospital yet again. And guess how he got there!! We received a text message from the nurse saying that we need to leave work immediately and take him to the hospital. Well he just had a leg amputated and is a 6’2 189 pound man. Not an easy accomplishment. Also my wife and i work full time and have taken so much time off that if either of us miss a day, we can lose our jobs.
We asked the nurse to call 911. To which she replies “ No, i have to leave.” “ i cannot stay and wait” so now my father in law has to wait 4 hours for one of us to get off work. Then get him out of our house and take him ourselves. We live in a very rural area and it takes some time for emergency response to get there.
All I’m gonna say is; shame on you. Shame. Your nurse is a terrible person.

What a absolutely pathetic excuse of a home health care service. Their nurse failed to call off or show up for multiple appointments. If you require home health care DO NOT use this company. Their office lady was very nice and apologized for the poor care and referred me to another home health care company.
