Total waste of time...

My daughter didn't get to even see a doctor, just a nurse with poor bedside manner, who felt it was necessary to tell us about her "life" experience and how it would be malpractice to perscribe my daughter who was 7 days with above 101 fever with a zpak "gtfo here." My statistical markers and reasoning + experience in having just had another of my children fall ill the past 2 weeks as well as my wife with this cold + pneumonia. Both who like I said, had the same exact symptoms as my daughter in their office and were "well" just 24hrs after being perscribed the zpaks in Seattle.

Unfortunately thanks to this clinic, my daughter rested and was in terrible discomfort for another week in SoCal thanks to this clinic until we returned to WA and guess what... When we went to our local urgent care she was x-rayed then diagnosed with pneumonia and was perscribed "drum roll please...." a zpak. No kidding huh, it's almost like I knew what I was talking about... And now 2 days after medicine is felling much better.

Totally redisclose that after telling them 7 days of a fever + an out of state urgent care visit 2 days before this appointment that a doctor at this practice couldn't even step in to help. Not to mention two others in my family who had the same exact cold and now 3 who were healed by the same medication.

All the nurse had to do was listen, she could have even looked our records up in the system right in front of her to see the simple solution but she was so set in not prescribing the patenting medication that she overlooked all the keys to solving this simple puzzle. Talk about malpractice, it's not like we were not there long enough this visit took over 90 minutes.

Sara was super friendly on the phone and then Tatiana was great at the front desk. My visit was quick and reassuring, the provider NP Jose was knowledgeable and helpful. I felt welcomed as a patient and treated with respect.

I have lived in Camarillo my whole life but I have never been to this office. I have been under the weather for over 2 weeks and needed to get to the bottom of it. So I thought an Ugent Care would be best. I had to bring my toddler with me, which worked out great. Staff was very polite and friendly and even gave my son stickers. The nurses, nurse practitioner, and Dr. Morin were really nice. I was a walk in patient and was in and out within 1 hour. Meds were called in right away! I ended up having a sinus infection. I highly recommend.

Office staff seemed nice and my son was prescribed medication. HOWEVER, they claimed they faxed over the prescription. But 4 days later and 2 phone calls still no prescription. 5th day, my son called and requested a paper prescription and the office said they do not give out prescription on paper. I'm glad this was not a serious matter, but I will never go back to this urgent care. Waste of time and my son's pain!

This place is a medical money mill. Horrible rude staff that only care about processing your 400$ visit to see a nurse practitioner not a doctor. Patient care is rock bottom on the priority list. Stay far far away from this office. Might as well just Google it and go to CVS.

My husband took quite a tumble mountain biking that required some stitches. We originally went to a different Urgent Care only to be told there would be a two hour wait time, at the least. Nope, we’re going to Channel Island Urgent Care in Camarillo. They took him back right away, cleaned him up and gave him seven stitches to his elbow. From the front desk, nurse and fabulous doctor we will never go to another Urgent Care. ***If you ride any kind of bike please wear a helmet, his took a beating but his head was spared.

Staff genuinely cares about your health and they are efficient and quick in making sure you’re seen in a timely manner. I was greeted by multiple members of the health care team at this site to check on me. Dr. Morin is awesome and takes the time to listen and answer questions. Very friendly and kind team.

I love this place. I generally don't even bother going to my regular doctor because the hours here are much better and I usually spend less time waiting to be seen for a doctor or nurse. Dr. Morin is pretty thorough and I get much better in just a few days.

I went to see Dr. Morin one time barely having enough strength to walk in the doctor. The receptionist saw the pain I was in when I walked in and took me into a room right away to lay down. A nurse came in to check vitals and Dr. Morin came in shortly after. After he asked me some questions and diagnosed me, he gave me a shot and I felt 100 times better almost instantly. I walked out with some antibiotics feeling better.
