My general medical doctor is great. The reception is fine. The pill distributors are quick and efficient.
But
The dentist I had the last two times altered the shape and length of my k9 teeth. Teeth he wasn't even supposed to be working on. I am beyond pissed off that someone would MUTILATE another humans mouth. The only thing I liked about my smile is now gone and will cost thousands to fix. And I was told with X-rays it would be hard to see how much the teeth actually changed, so I can't even show them how fcked my teeth are. So much for giving better smiles.

Dr. Thompson is a legend amongst dentists. Spent 10 minutes making sure I was extra numb, and about 20 seconds pulling out the is painful, swollen and abscesses molar. No pain, no bs, super professional, good humored, and very helpful if you suffer from any dental anxiety.

Spent a lot of time looking for a dental clinic For my wife. that accepted my wife's insurance and taking new patients was not easy.
But the fine people at chapel day. We're so nice helpful and friendly. Look forward to doing business with them.

Their scheduling system is ludicrous. You might have to cancel your wedding to get the appointment you need.

The dentists are nice but that doesn’t mean they do quality work unfortunately. I’m grateful my two front teeth came out looking great.

You’re better off somewhere else if you can.

Do not get Sandra Wilkins as a doctor. That woman needs to be fired or sued for malpractice. Anyone that wants to stick a needle in your spine because you're having lower back issues, and doesn't seek out a back specialist, needs to be fired. If I cared more chapa de would have a giant lawsuit on their hands. Come to find out I had endometriosis. I don't think a needle in the spine would have found that. Good thing I went to a real hospital and specialist. I was being nice for giving you one star.

Chapa de has no idea what they are doing in regards to telling patients when they can get appointments. I have been strung along for a month waiting in extreme pain for a root canal which they originally said would take a month because of the waitlist. Now after a month of pain, they say it’ll be another month before they call to even schedule. Furthermore, you can’t reschedule any other appointments because they will just cancel them and then put you on another waitlist. The clerks at the desk don’t have always have answers to insurance questions.

-Editing this review to say I’ve had a lot of dental work done now through chapa de and while the wait is usually quite long because they don’t schedule out for more than 2 weeks so it can take up to 3 months for things like a root canal. I am grateful to them for helping me with my teeth as I am no longer in pain and they have done a great job!

It’s very hit and miss here. Some people know what they are doing and others obviously do not. I have provided patient feedback before on the form on their website and it seems nothing has helped. They really need to hold more staff trainings because front office to back office is not on the same page clearly. Sometimes I get text reminders and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes the text will say my appointment is at a certain time when in reality it is ten minutes earlier. Then I get attitude from the front desk staff. They also always just assume I’m a medi-cal patient until I tell them I’m verified Native American and then I get treated much nicer literally their whole tone is different once they know that. It makes me feel bad for the others that get treated with lack of respect. The OB department does not deliver locally and they expect you to make it an hour and a half away to deliver a baby. Hopefully they work on changing that soon. I have been very pleased with the actual doctors. They are very helpful and seem to care about the patients. I wish the rest of the staff was the same way.
