Dr. Trinh was my mom's PCP for a few months. Within those few months, my mom was prescribed medication for high blood pressure and high cholesterol. This started Dec/ early Jan and about 1 1/2 month ago, I noticed my mom gained weight excessively and also her feet and legs swelling BAD.
This did not seem normal so I had my mom schedule a follow up again.
TURNS OUT, Dr. Trinh did NOT do blood work to determine if my mother had cholesterol or BHP. She just prescribed medication to my mother that she DID NOT NEED. I was uncomfortable with the work Dr. Trinh has been doing and had my mom fire her and get a new PCP. This MD now who DID, in fact the blood work!
My mom's work came back and she does not have high cholesterol or BHP that Dr. Trinh tried to prescribe meds for. Im only writing this because this is dangerous practice and I think everyone has a right to know how irresponsible this is coming from a doctor. It's scary because these doctors are suppose to be in charge of our health and our lives, yet they fail to do the correct things and leading to life or death situations.
I hope this review helps other patients and their families to really check and second guess these doctors. Please ask these doctors how much experience have they had in the medical field because some of these doctors are just experimenting as they go as well. Don't let kindness, or attentive doctors or whatever the case may be to fool you into thinking you're getting great patient care and think they deserve these 5 stars because I could sue this MD for almost killing my mother since she did not do the proper work by doing blood work. Shame on you, Dr. Trinh and START DOING PATIENT'S BLOOD WORK TO PRESCRIBE THE CORRECT MEDICATION TO YOUR PATIENT'S.
