I’d leave zero stars if I could. My mother was originally told that she qualified for being able to stay there while she healed and had some crucial tests completed for the benefit of her health. After initially telling her she just needed a negative COVID test and chest X-Ray for Pneumonia they then added on a negative TB test and have continued to come up with additional requirements for her to be able to get a bed there. Don’t bother with these people. They are deceitful and unhelpful. They maintain in the beginning that they are going to assist and then continuously add more requirements till they reach a point where they can deny you.

For a place that is supposed to let you heal and convalesce they make it abundantly clear you're on a very strict schedule 7 days a week. The message that "you are here to heal not to be comfortable" is made very clear every day. Unless you have an outside appointment you're unable to leave the grounds.
Most of the medical staff is good, a few exceptions of those who look down on the homeless as being lesser people.
The newest security measure is keeping a baby sitter outside with the patients until curfew to stop patients from shooting up and using Marijuana, when the real issues is people smoking fentanyl and meth in the bathrooms not outside. Very much not liking in the right places but even when they find drugs it's overlooked.
The incredible amount of use of fentanyl and meth is not being stopped or addressed.
Given the recent visitors from other programs similar it shows where the money really goes and it's not to the patients.

So I found out today that the medical center near me is a circle of life. Now it explains why there constantly open drug use in the parking lot. The bum fires and camps have calmed down as of lately, It not every night. But every weekend it’s still a place to party and do drugs. We had to call to cops a few time over fighting on the parking lot. There still yelling every night. Not to mention the lady who camps there. Has two dogs that bark at all hours of the night. You can tell the dogs are under distress. As they are cold and ignored as she smokes fentanyl and passes out for hours on end.

Absolutely appalled by processing with this organization. My homeless nephew is now working on day 10 with trying to receive care. He has two open wounds, his legs are swollen like elephants and has been to every requested appointment. Even though he can barely walk. He had an appointment today passed his negative Covid test did intake and they still are prolonging in admission. He will be released back to streets again in his condition. Does anyone know who I can speak with? How are they releasing him back to streets with open beds?

This is a homeless shelter where my brother is staying. It is well equipped with private rooms and 24 hour security. Located in central Phoenix so it's in a fairly nice but older safe area. If it weren't for places like this which are able to exist because of charitable contributions, my brother and other homeless people on the street wouldn't have a great place to stay that gets them off the street while they are recovering from whatever ails them. In my brother's case it's cancer.

I have been so blessed by this program! They totally believe that everyone deserves a place to heal. They don't just work on the physical they work on your mental health and spiritual self too. Without the hard working people who are here I would not be able to walk.
