My husband was brought in by ambulance after having a ruptured ulcer and throwing up black (dead) blood. After racing into the ER they brought me back right away to see him, he was in critical condition, I was distraught and the staff was so amazing and compassionate. He ended up getting a bed/room and staying for 5 days and needed 5 blood transfusions. I was able to stay with him on the fold-out couch in his room which was very private and nicely designed. The nurses and doctors were angels, every single one of them were informed, attentive and even patient with my millions of questions. Even the neurologists made visits, as he has epilepsy, where his meds were adjusted & he has way less seizures now! This is the hospital for us in scary situations that I hope never happen again, but if they do- I know we’ll be in the best hands ever. Thank you, Clovis Community.

I am beside myself after how I was treated by this nurse at the front. I had to call Clovis pd after I was assaulted by her. This nurse and security officer refused me a supervisor claiming they “did not have one “ and changing the story to they are busy. She knew she messed up with disrespect and actions highly unbecoming of a medical professional. She was gaslighting me, shoved her badge in my face asking if I knew how to read and shoving her hands in my face while I was attempting a picture so I could make some sort of complaint since neither wanted to identify themselves. I’ll be contacting my attorney.

My spouse has been here since Feb 4th battling multiple issues. Everything and everyone has been great. However she was transferred to a new room 2 days ago. This room is horrible. The window shade is broken and apparently been broken for months and maintenance has done nothing about it. 12 rooms from Tower 2 can c Everything going on. The afternoon sun blinds her. Then the privacy curtain by the door doesn't work either. She has no privacy from people in the hallway. The nursing staff have said they keep putting in repair orders but nothing ever happens. This is BS Clovis Community. Do better. Be better.

We've been in the crowded ER for 48 hours but are lucky to be in a good room. I feel sorry for the people parked in the hallway, but almost all of the staff have been WONDERFUL! Conscientious, efficient, and friendly even when super busy. From house physicians to housekeeping, everyone has been so nice. My husband has confusing conditions but he is getting great care. The cafeteria is really good, with a wide variety of food freshly prepared to order, and even my husband's "heart-healthy" diet is quality. Nursing staff and therapists are amazing.

I was recently admitted to Clovis Community Medical Center for a shoulder replacement surgery on 02/18/2025. Dr. Julia Lee from SPOC was my surgeon and is amazing. She did a wonderful job. Dr. Lee had authorized an overnight stay for 1 due to past medical history and was taking precautions. Check in-Admissions, Pre-op, Surgery, Recovery all was very professional and very professional. I had no problems at all, in fact when I woke up in recovery I was starving and it was past meal service time in the hospital but my recovery nurse Anthony was sweet and nice enough to bring me a meal in recovery while we were waiting for my room. Everyone that day was wonderful. When I got to my room and settled close to midnight the nursing staff was just changing shifts and my nurses on the 5th Floor, Post op were Cassie and Gabe. My Nurse Assistant was Ericka. They were all very attentive and we worked out the little bugs because of the time of night. I had great service and was attended too whenever I needed something. I really appreciated them and Ericka went the extra mile every time she could. I would also like to thank the 3 of them. The next morning shift change nurses and I rang for someone, anyone for some help. It took at least an hour for someone to show up and they told me I had to wait for a nurse. Which was another 2 hours and I had gone over needing my pain medication about 3 hours. Then they would not give me the medication which was prescribed the previous night if I needed it for major pain. I hadn’t because my nurses kept my medication regulated to where I didn’t go long periods of time without so my pain was manageable. The nurses that were there on the 5th Floor Post op were horrible on the morning shift which I believe started at 7 or 8 am. One (the worst one) Luz Morales should not be a nurse first of all, she was an LVN. Was rude, not at all helpful and comes in my room and Blurts out I was being discharged and the order was already in the computer. Which of course I knew I was only staying one night but never gave me a time, a timeframe or anything. Then leaves my room still without giving me my pain meds from the previous night. She disappeared for another hour or two leaving me to get out of bed and back in without assistance right after surgery. When I finally got ahold of a nurse they were arguing with me about the medication that was prescribed for me. The order from the night before was still in my chart but they wouldn’t look for it. Finally about 4 hours later I saw an RN and had an argument with her about my pain medication. Needless to say, I was still waiting to be discharged and finally got my pain meds. I was waiting to pack my stuff up to leave but still wasn’t told when that would be. They brought me lunch around noon and I had just finished eating when someone from the discharge desk comes in with a wheelchair and said we’re leaving. Now, I still had no idea how the discharge process worked and was waiting for the paperwork to tell me what my home instructions were after discharge. I told them they would have to come back to give me time to call my ride home and pack my overnight bag. After I had to argue with this person she finally leaves says she’ll be back in an hour and to call my ride. I was just getting ready to do that when another one from the discharge desk comes to tell me we’re leaving. I had the same exact argument with her only she wouldn’t leave my room. She kept telling me she would pack my things and I didn’t want anyone else doing that. Last time I was in the hospital they lost my clothes. In the meantime they had called my sister and told her she needed to be there, they were discarding me immediately. She told them it would be at least 20 minutes before she could get there from across town. They called her right back and said she needed to hurry, so she did. She sat in her car over an hour and the dr had not even signed my discharge paperwork. Luz told me I was not even authorized to stay overnight that’s why the paperwork was messed up. I left with no paperwork.

Was told by my Dr that I should go to the hospital due to possible stroke diagnosis.
It was a little busy but from beginning to end everyone was polite, caring and comforting.
I had multiple tests from bloodwork to an MRI and it was fast, efficient and most of all calming. The nurses are super busy and wonderful.
We had many laughs while going through all the procedures and a special thanx to the transport staff who were so efficient and helpful.
Tests were negative, it all took a while but for what I needed it was relatively painless. 5 stars.

So disturbing how this hospital treats people. The doctors are over worked rude and don't tell u anything. Staff/nurses has no idea what's going on they put notes with wrong names and information. They do not do paperwork correctly and if u question a med or ask what's going on doctors will quit and give u new one or flat out stop talking with u and ask for another family member or pass u off. I come from 12 hrs away and our hospital is small and very limited but I would rather die at our hospital than get any treatment or care from clovis community. They show no dignity care or compassion to there patience. I was there for days listening to patience scream and yell for nurses and no one come and 5 of them sitting on there computers. I saw nurses suposed to be monitoring people instead they where scrolling facebook!!!!! It was a joke. And should seriously be investigated. u are warned go somewhere else!

I went into the ER Friday about 11:00 am. I had abdominal pains. My PC advised me that she thought it might be appendicitis. In 5 hours, I had blood tests, a CT, Dr consultation and was headed to surgery. Everything was exceptional clean and the people were very professional. I was impressed!!! Great job Clovis community !!!
