This office and staff is a joke. Can never get someone from the office on the phone. The schedulers are scheduling appointments and the “doctors” sending in prescriptions that are incomplete with incorrect codes delaying prescriptions a week or 2. Pharmacy says they fax over requests and goes unanswered.

Not sure how my other review was deleted. But this is the worst doctors office I’ve ever gone to. The office or doctor lied to IEHP about me and I filed a grievance. Their staff is unprofessional and a former doctor was creepy in a sexual way towards my sister on many occasions. He offered to write any prescription she wanted right in front of me. I don’t think you should go here at all. There’s poor reviews for a reason.

This place is ridiculous, you will wait a week or longer with up to 3-4 calls reminding them to authorize your meds. They transfer you person to person, voicemails are left, supervisors contacted, still no prescription refill info sent to pharmacy. Their operators hang up on you after you’ve been on hold for 25+ minutes. No one responds. At this point it’s a health & safety matter, now I know why this place has such BAD ratings, I am scared for my health & livid!

The Phone staff is completely incompetent, I am a mental health patient and I was forced to walk to the office the other day, because I could not get my prescription refilled over the phone, the phone staff was SO DIFFICULT!!! I spent at least 15 on hold and nothing got accomplished!! I got a neurologist referral I called for a prescription refill wow!!! I was forced to show up in person to make sure I was going to get my RX I had such a bad anxiety attack because of the way I was treated
I am walking down Hovley Lane with cars flying by me at 50 MPH I had to talk a little louder because of this and all the girl kept asking Me, "could you stop yelling" I am not yelling, I am talking loudly because I am walking next to traffic and I was forced to walk because your staff is so incompetent that I am not sure if I actually got my refill called into CVS.
I prefaced my conversation like this " I am a mental health patient and I need to get my anti seizure medication refilled". all the girl cared about was the tone of my voice, I am walking next to 50 MPH traffic I am just talking loudly not yelling. In the end I had a complete mental breakdown on the side of the road completely bawling my head off , COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT Staff at dealing with any mental health issues. Unfortunate because Janelle is great, she is very informative and helpful, unfortunately the Phone people are so bad it makes you still want to complain and avoid having to deal with this group of people.

AN UPDATE their RX refill line (number 3) was never answered all day!!!!

First time visiting went wonderfully and I was thoroughly explained everything I needed to know. Second time I went for a check up and was seen by a different doctor, an older white gentlemen with an urgent care embroidered shirt. He was completely rude and even took out his phone and started texting while I was explaining my symptoms. He continued to tell me most of the things I was saying, were wrong and overall had a bad attitude. I do not plan on returning to this location again.

I had been a patient there for 5 years . My family and i will not be going back to them again. During the early parts of the pandemic they offered to wave co pays if I did my appointment of the phone.. then 9 months later they send me bills for co-pays!!!!!! Then they ask who told me that I didn't have to pay like u would remember the name of the lady!! Then pretended to know nothing about the waved Co pays!!! For me it's about the standing behind there word I could have payed but just on this alone they are not worth my time or money no longer me and my family will seek a new family doctor that can stand by there word!!

This place is terrible. They've dropped the ball on getting prescriptions to the pharmacy several times on me. My pharmacist said that this is normal with their Palm Desert office. In fact, the pharmacist said that they had people waiting over 3 days for a reply on a refill inquiry and that the slow turn around and dropping the ball was common. I would definitely say stay away from this doctor's office.

My doctor is here, inexpensive , not premier care / attention , check your patience at the door. The PA's and MA's are Young and they talk fast so you have to ask them to repeat + slow down...., they called in my prescription to the wrong pharmacy and also don't pronounce your name Correctly...otherwise it's an acceptable medical office for primary care.
