Coastal did not show up today for appointment that was booked 2 weeks ago. My mom resides in a nursing home, has a perforated, infected eardrum and was to have a follow ear MD appointment. They called to say they’d be late then never showed. I am requesting mom’s nursing home to use another more reliable ambulance co. I will also hold Coastal reliable for the delay in my mom’s care. Shame on them

Coming out of Providence at 1:45 PM there was a coastal medical driver driving Erratically, His lane was giving out due to construction, and I watched him force others including tractor trailers, who patiently waited their turn to the side or risk collision he thought he didn’t have to abide by the rules like everybody else. The ambulance was empty and he was just being a jerk. You should really teach your drivers how to be professional, especially driving an ambulance. The truck was numbered A141

Today at Fairlawn in Worcester I was blocked in by a Coastal transport ambulance for 20 minutes because the driver couldn't see that right next to my car was a whole section for ambulances to load and unload. teach your drivers to pay attention to the large space afforded to transport of patients. I was with my very agitated elderly and handicapped mother who needed to get home and get her medication. The drivers were rude and just clueless. There was plenty of space for them to unload even with another Coastal ambulance under the portico.

They misuse their emergency lights and sirens on Martha’s Vineyard transporting patients , if it was a emergency they would use a helicopter not the ferry

Is there a -1,000 star review option? This company was used to transport my brother from a nursing facility to an outpatient appointment. The appointment would only take 15 minutes, driver of the van with a lift told Dr’s office that he’d stay in vicinity after he was told it would be so short - he didn’t. My brother waited over TWO HOURS for a ride back. They sent a van with a ramp, and a driver who was not strong enough to push him up the ramp in his wheelchair. They had his stats. He was humiliated, waiting in the parking lot for her to find someone to help push him in, after getting a cancer diagnosis at his appointment.

Coastal transported my elderly mother from a nursing rehab center to two Doctor's appointments in one day. Rebecca and John were wonderful. So kind, pleasant and made my Mom feel comfortable the whole time. They treated her with the greatest of care and respect. Thank you!

If you care about your loved one's well being, and are in need of medical transportation, do NOT use Coastal Medical Transportation Service. I repeat, do NOT! This company was used to transport my 81-year-old husband from the hospital to his residence after his surgery. The two men who transported my husband from the vehicle into the house were very careless, seemed inexperienced, lacked compassion, and were unprofessional, which resulted in my husband suffering two injuries (open wounds), one on the head and other on his thigh. It was horrifying to watch my loved one treated in that manner - with much carelessness. Shame on them! Please seek other alternatives for medical transportation. I do not want anyone to go through what I witnessed: the mistreatment of my husband.
