Coastal Pediatric Medical Group has been great. My daughter sees Dr. Pecht and he is the best!! She normally will fuss at doctors offices but he is very patient with her and makes her feel comfortable. Very knowledgeable and answers all of our questions. Him and Dr.Blank have been very helpful. All of the medical staff are very polite and welcoming. I don't think I've had any bad experiences with this group- I highly recommend 🙂

Amazing front desk staff & we absolutely love the nurses & doctors at Coastal Pediatrics! They go above and beyond to make your entire family feel welcome! Always spoils my girl with stickers & everyone is always smiling and happy! They always make sure all of your questions are answered before you leave! I highly recommend for all ages!

Dr. Blank is beyond wonderful! He is thorough, informative, and truly cares about his patients. He stops at nothing to find answers. The nurses (especially Sara) are remarkable as well. The entire office is always kind and attentive.

I love Dr. Blank and Dr. Pecht but their office lacks in administrative organization and as a result, it impacts my overall trust in the medical staff.
I came for an annual checkup for my 4 year old and we didn’t leave the office until almost 2 hours later.
Part of the reason for the wait was because they could not locate his immunization records from his prior pediatrician. Even though I signed all the medical release forms prior to scheduling my appointment, they requested I sign another one because they could not locate it. I asked if it was uploaded electronically (as I recall my other child’s was retrieved electronically in my last appointment) and they said when they went into the system, my child was not found.
After waiting 45 minutes I called my former pediatrician who confirmed that it was uploaded electronically and said they were viewing it as we speak. Dr. Blank’s staff then said they forgot they couldn’t access the system at the same time that the Ventura location was logged in which is why my son’s information was pulling up as “user nor found.”
All this to say - if they cannot get basic administrative duties correct, how would I be able to trust them with more important things like proper billing, getting the right vaccines, proper protocol for medication, etc? Moreover when their admin team and medical assistants speak to me, it is as if they are processing out loud what they need to do and I am never quite clear on what steps they are taking versus which ones I should be taking. As a patient, we should not have to waste this much time coordinating with the office through repeated requests and ultimately, they should find a better system for filing their patient information electronically.

After taking my 3 kids there for many years, since they were newborns, I finally had to make the switch to another pediatrician’s office. The front office staff is what really made us switch. They were always short and rude on the phone, they lacked professionalism and empathy. I would cringe every time I had to call the front office. I’ve called the after hours service only to either not be called back or be told they forgot to call in prescriptions. Specifically, I was seen in the morning for a child with a painful ear infection and they had all day to call the antibiotic, which they didn’t. We had other similar incidents where it was slow to get calls returned, prescriptions filled or test results, this happened a few other times before I finally had enough. We were sad to go as we really loved Dr. Pecht and most of the other doctors, however, he was almost never available and/or booked months out.
