I have been using coastal for over 3 months through VA community care. Around the beginning of February they asked me to put a credit card on file which is a big no no for veterans getting their care paid for via community care. Friday 3/14 I had to cancel an appointment because I was sick and I lost my voice (they canceled the prior appointment on me). I messaged them and let them know I couldn’t talk. Whoever the male office personnel is called me 3 times expecting me to talk and respond after I told them twice I couldn’t talk. After the third time he called telling me I needed to log on anyway, he got a huge attitude, told me I will no longer get anymore appointments if I don’t put a credit card on file. Not to mention every single appointment I had was cut short. My last appointment was 23 minutes before my therapist cut me short. I’m now in the process of reporting this to our VA patient advocate (probably won’t hurt to throw their business name to BBB as well). Veterans or civilians, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. They’re about and only about the money. They don’t care about your mental health.

This place is a complete scam. They charge you for everything and do Not provide legitimate help. I gave them all insurance info and they never said anything about cost or anything else. Charged for EVERYTHING, $20 a page to fill out FMLA paperwork, then filled it out incorrectly and charged me again when I called to tell them that they filled it out incorrectly. They are NOT there to help but only to take your money. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews on this place so I can’t blame it all on them. But believe me, if you can afford to be treated here then you can afford a real psychiatrist. Oh and they are rude to you when you call to ask for an explanation.

The front office staff, Courtney and Kelly, are wonderful. They make me feel right at home! Bethany is fantastic and makes sure everything is going smoothly. And I cannot say enough about Dr. Hill, she is the absolute best. I cannot thank her enough!! Highly recommend!!!

All the ladies are nice, but as you’ll see in other reviews steven doesn’t genuinely care about you or your struggles, and is actually rude/snarky when speaking to him. Their are better options , find them!!!

So I have a friend that was gonna kill herself and couldn’t see her therapist there until a 75 fee was paid ! Suicidal desperate to talk to therapist her meds she was prescribed from there were messing up her Stomach !
She could go to therapy because she was stuck on the toilet so they CHARGED her 75
I gave my friend my card so she would just get to go see her therapist but it was too late when she charged it She was passed out dehydrated from crying so no appt for days just in bed now This senior citizen woman was diagnosed WRONG! she’s got mental major Anxiety .Possible dementia is starting they are doing test

So I have called office to get my refund since she NEVER EVEN WENT THEIR DOCTOR ! I have Email 4-5 TIMES LEFT MESSAGES
I WANT MY 75.00 Dollars RETURNED

Spoke with a AA woman who was extremely rude and unprofessional. Asked me little to no questions. Obviously didn't care at all. Definitely not qualified at all because to top off the worst visit I've ever had she didn't even send the pharmacy my medication paid money for absolutely nothing. If your seeking help seek help elsewhere.

Warning! Beware! The name is misleading. Not naming names out of respect for the family and friends, but a person came in Monday 11/25 depressed and in a bad way asking for urgent help. 11/28 they passed at their own hands, having sought help at a place calling themselves psychiatric urgent care that did not deliver urgent care. This person should have been baker acted. Gonna check and see the dates their card has been charged after this worthless visit. They should have read and taken to heart all of the bad reviews. Very Sad.
