Jenifer Edstrom is one of the worst doctors I have dealt with. I had a scheduled appointment and was rushed out of her office in less than 5 minutes. I tried to bring up an issue and was rudely told “if you want to talk about something else, you need to make another appointment.” She told me she would refill my mental health medications. Now my refills are being denied because she is requiring a mental health visit, which i told her i had scheduled. So essentially I am out of medication for almost 2 weeks because she lied to my face and didn’t want me in her office. Receptionists are lovely.

I recently visited this community healthcare facility in Davenport due to sleep issues and was initially impressed by how quickly they got me in to see a doctor. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The doctor I saw did not take the time to speak with me or review the materials I had brought in regarding my condition. Instead, they briefly read my chart, dismissed my concerns, and referred me to a completely unrelated clinic that was not equipped to address my needs.

To make matters worse, when I tried to discontinue services with this primary care provider, they mishandled my request. I still needed a referral appointment for psychiatric care, but their communication was so poor that when I missed responding to a text confirmation within 10 minutes, my slot was immediately canceled and reassigned.

The coordination of services here is incredibly disorganized, and the staff does not seem to prioritize patient care. They also claim to offer a sliding scale for payment assistance, but I found the costs to be excessive regardless. If you fail to pay or arrange a payment plan, they threaten to report you to credit agencies, which feels predatory and unfair.

Overall, my experience with this clinic was frustrating and unprofessional. The staff and doctors do not seem to genuinely care about their patients, and the entire system feels disjointed and poorly managed. I would strongly caution others to look for alternative healthcare options in the area.

They may have availability within a week, but their doctors are not worth it.

To the staff at CHC....Make time for your patients. Even if your overwhelmed with too many patients. To just show a little care and concern about patients will go a long way. Your taking advantage of people and sending them on their way.

Thank God for this place and their phenomenal staff! In Davenport for business with an unexpected dental emergency. They fit me in and took the best care of me possible. Best out of state experience I’ve ever had.
Highly recommend this group of compassionate, empathetic and kind people!

Natalie at the front desk was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Besides the fact that she works front desk in healthcare yet wears no shoes. She doesn’t fully understand her job position and should not work with the public let alone people who are sick.

I had the best experience I've ever had at a dentist office before. They got me in asap for my tooth the very next day as well as the fact I've never been treated so kindly ever as they have here. They joked with me and helped my anxiety gave me breaks and were very professional. Also they have new upgrades equipment. Idk how this isn't 5 stars because I can't tell you enough how it's a great place.

My nurse and Dr. Jen were really understanding and helpful. Very kind, positive and professional people! Filled out paperwork and it was a brief wait for my appointment, everything went smoothly.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. You don't care about your patients, just a pay check. How in the world is it acceptable to be seen 3 weeks after an ER visit that needs IMMEDIATE follow-up? The nurse for Sarah Jauron needs to be fired for how she talks to patients. How dare you ask why I don't see a doctor that is closer to me. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS MA'AM. My doctor (when I can see her) knows my history and I thought she took care of me. This place is awful. 0/10 recommend.

Nice and clean facility , short wait times and respectful staff. Very attentive to your needs when you’re going through a rough patch in life. They actually took the time to listen to me. keep to yourself outside only because it is a behavioral health clinic… Also a primary care provider. It’s a wonderful thing when you can go to one building for all your healthcare needs.
