When I couldn’t reach my primary care physician during an urgent matter, an urgent care clinic referred me to Alyssa. Not only is she an exceptional medical practitioner, she’s also thoughtful and kind. Alyssa actively listens to her patients, provides medical-based recommendations, and never comes across as pushy. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a primary care practitioner. Alyssa stands out as one of the finest and most sincere medical practitioners, and I’m delighted to endorse her.

My PA, Ms. Grace Napier, is extremely attentive and sensitive to my care and needs. I've been really impressed with her thoroughness. Her care has made a real difference, including diagnosing a serious autoimmune condition of which I was wholly unaware, but which would have had serious repercussions down the road. I feel seen and heard with her, and in this light highly recommend her and the clinic.

I had a lot on my mind and she listen very carefully and answer as many of my questions she could. She referred me to some physical therapy and lab blood work while looking into some other referral needs. I was very satisfied with the time she took.

We had to schedule an appointment here for our 2 day old newborn because our regular pediatrician was out of the office this week. When we arrived for our 1:30 appointment, no one was at the office. It was end of their lunch so we waited. Two cars with girls in scrubs pulled up at once.. the first silver car a girl got out coughing and ran to the back of her car and started vomiting behind her bumper. She noticed we were watching her so she popped her trunk and continued to vomit. The second car had two employees come out who came in and unlocked the door for us. The front desk employee who unlocked the door was wearing a mask and had a wet cough. She immediately got on the phone to tell someone that they had returned from lunch and the girl they had given the keys to to come open the door had not arrived yet and she had “no idea why” because she had “left the restaurant before them”.. then she laughed and said “Lunch was alright, not that I could taste it” okay cool so she has covid. When she got off the phone we informed her that the girl that was supposed to come unlock the door that “couldn’t even do that for you” like she had tattled on the phone was outside vomiting.. we said we weren’t comfortable having our 2 day old seen here and we would try to make an appointment at another office. She kept saying “No it’s ok I can have Maribel see you she’s not sick”…. Oh you mean the third girl you and Pukey just got back from the restaurant with? (Continues to wet cough) no thanks. She then said “well Nipomo is double booked and your baby needs to be seen within 3 days you should really stay” as Pukey walks in from the back with vomit on the front of her scrubs. we firmly again said NO THANK YOU!! And left. And I just got a missed appointment notification from them. We were so disgusted and I’m even more angry that CHC has a pediatricians office operating with 2/3 of the employees vomiting/with covid symptoms pressuring me to stay with my two day old. Luckily we were able to get an appointment in SLO tomorrow but I will never ever ever recommend the Station Way CHC Pediatricians office to ANYONE I am so disgusted!

Grace is a rare gem. She listens. She's personable. She takes the referral process very seriously so that she doesn't send you to people that she hasn't had personal knowledge of or experience with. She is so gentle and kind and caring!

Allysa, and the rest of the crew at this CHC are the most professional, courteous, and best trained group I've ever been to. They really seem to care and go the extra lengths to help you. I give them the highest rating possible.

Alyssa Castagna is awesome. She takes the time to really listen to my concerns and has never made me feel rushed. Its so comforting to have a medical professional that takes my health issues seriously. If she is unable to treat whatever my situation is she wastes no time referring me to the appropriate physician that can. I feel very blessed to have her on my medical team! Thank you Alyssa 😊
