Cranberry Auto Service is a great place for awesome service! As a newcomer to Maryland, this was my first time going to an auto repair shop and it was just for a vehicle inspection. The inspector was thorough and they had me done very fast. Leslie even told me to come back after I went to the BMV to get my Disabled Veteran plates on, as my front bumper had no holes for a plate, being from a different state. I went back and she went and got a worker to come out and install them. He was very friendly and did a nice job for me. I will be going back for my next vehicle maintenance.

I used this company after receiving an advertisement in the mail, they were close to where we live and figured I would give them a shot. We were not disappointed! So happy to have found your little shop and used you for our work we needed done on my wife's 2008 CRV in order to pass emissions testing. My car needed 5 things for scheduled maintenance. I called and asked if they could take care of all five things. They said yes and offered me a Wednesday appointment at 1 pm. I checked to make sure all the things could be done in time for them to close at 5:30 and they said no problem. I bring my car in and two hours later at given a list of “recommended services” totaling over $2k, none of which were my scheduled maintenance. I ask again about the scheduled maintenance and they tell me they don’t have the fluid for one of the flushes and can’t do that. I ask them to start on the scheduled maintenance. I asked them why my shocks and struts are recommended to be replaced and receive an answer if “because the age of your car” which I am told by a friend is BS. Stocks and structs are to be replaced when they make noise. By 4:30 they tell me my car is undrivable and they need to diagnose the problem. After being there from 1-5:30 I had to uber home. They told me they’d call in the morning. At 2 pm the following day I’m told I need a new turbocharger and my warranty needs to conduct an inspection but they are closed until Monday. On Monday I’m told they missed the inspection appointment and have to wait until Tuesday. Wednesday I’m told it’s probably going to take until Monday. The first day, they estimated a day and a half to replace the turbocharger and now I’m being told three and a half days. When I ask for updates Leslie gives me attitude because I am asking questions. I did end up with my car back that Friday, but without one of the fluid flushes for my scheduled maintenance done. Also I was charged two hours of diagnostics and my warranty company said they’d only pay for one because the National Labor Standards state that the test that they run takes one hour not two. No one could explain to me why I was being charged for two hours. The communication was horrible and the service was horrible. I honestly feel like after over $4k work done on my car, my car drives worse than before. I can’t believe this place has so many positive reviews. This place is literally the stereotype mechanic that quotes for unneeded services and doesn’t do what you ask them for. Maybe if I was a man they would have treated me better.
