This is truly the best PCP office I have ever had in my two decades as an adult in greater Boston. The wait times/lists, while not unusual for a MA provider, are challenging — I waited six months for my initial appointment — and I fully recognize not everyone has the privilege of being able to hold off for an extended period. However, if you are able to get onto a list or are lucky with an opening, I cannot recommend them enough.

They are an empathetic and caring office with doctors and NPs who really listen – considering holistic approaches and all lifestyles, taking more than the 10 minutes allotted by most corporate healthcare providers.

Additionally, their decision to provide gender-affirming care is not just refreshing or a "specialty," it's absolutely necessary. It's an undeniably difficult time for institutions and businesses to stand firm in what they believe in — for the safety of their patients and their staff — but when we get through this, remembering who remained on the right side of history will be worthwhile. (Looking at you, Harvard, you cowards.)

The atmosphere is very peaceful and the waiting room is beautiful. Staff are very kind and patient. The medical assistant asked my permission before taking my height and weight which I greatly appreciated from a body positivity perspective. I met with Pamela their NP who was thorough and empathetic. I am grateful to be a patient here.

Michelle is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever seen. She always listens with her full attention and takes everything I say seriously, and I truly feel like she is working with me to get the care I need for ongoing health issues. The practice’s 4th trimester care for newborns is also absolutely incredible!

Came to Davis Square Family Practice upon recommendation from my roommate for the first time today, just for a physical and to discuss some health concerns. I thought the staff and my NP, Andrea were great! The environment is very welcoming and the staff were efficient and helpful. I felt comfortable and not judged discussing my health with Andrea, most importantly. I love that they have a phlebotomist on-site so I do not have to go to a secondary location for lab work. The medical staff are extremely thorough and thoughtful; I have never felt rushed, and I've been able to get an appt as needed, even same day for an urgent issue. Came here for the first time after going through a few other places. This place is incredible, everyone is super nice, I got some referrals and scripts and I’m getting some actual real help for the first time in a years. I literally left in tears because I haven’t been treated well by a doctor in ages. They listen, they understand, they give you real help. I can’t recommend them enough! Very unorganized practice. Very long wait times for prescriptions to be called in and when they do, it is sent to the wrong pharmacy on multiple occasions, even after you have confirmed the correct pharmacy multiple times.
Also long wait times for return calls on urgent matters and/or medications. I understand small practices do not have the capabilities of larger practices but there is a huge gap in care at this practice. Extremely inefficient. Very unfortunate because the staff are friendly and pleasant. Has the potential to be a great practice for this community. Very disappointed to have to move to another practice.

Michelle Clarke is an amazing provider! She has cared for my 7 month daughter from birth and she is now my principal provider as well. Michelle is thorough, caring and really has a holistic approach to medicine. I absolutely recommend this practice and Michelle Clarke! I can finally add that we also have seen Carmen Phillips at the practice for our little one when she was running a high fever and she was also fabulous- kind, knowledgeable and reassuring during the difficult time.
