Nurse Sheila was great but these poors nurses are running around taking care of 4 really sick people. It seems like they're spread to thin to give everyone enough attention. Doctor was good too but I think He also had too many people to care for so I only saw him for maybe 15-20 mins in the 8 hours I was there. Facility was dated and lots of things were broken in my room.

I broke my wrist/forearm. Was seen, diagnosed and treated in under 2 hours. Entire staff were pleasant. Totally felt comfortable and treated so awesome. By far best ER visit.
I'm writing this review to give credit where credit is due. Upon exting Parkway I received a Google review the request day so I completed it. Sadly it got posted for Decatur Main, not Decatur Parkway. I would never go to Decatur Main after a previous experience. Again thank you Parkway.
I was wondering why the reviews here are at a low rating. It seems the questions and reviews tie into one facility, which are two different places.

If I could leave no stars I would. On a recent visit to have a CT scan done I had the absolute worst experience.
1) The registration went ok except the girl registering me asked me to speak up because she was listening to gospel on her phone. Charged me for 2 separate scans. I was only getting one. It all worked out and was reimbursed my money. Not sure yet if the insurance company was billed for both yet.
2) When I got into radiology the two men doing the test didn't know what was going on. They had to call my Doctor to find out which scan was to be done. Without dye or with.
3) One of the two men had to take a blood test before putting the dye in. That was fine. Then he tried to get the dye in and the other man came over whispering. After a minute of pain in my arm they thought it best to try the other. ( My arm was black and purple for a week. Not a small bruise either. It was about a 3 inch circle.
4) Moving to the other arm the other man went about putting in the IV and it was the most excruciating IV I have ever received. Imagine someone taking a switch blade and putting it in your arm and turning it. I asked if they knew what they were doing and if they had ever done this before. I'm thinking no. I'm pretty convinced that they may have been part of a maintenance or janitorial crew. I escaped from the hospital bruised and still in pain.
I would not send my ex there for any reason and he is dead. What an experience.

The care was excellent! My wife was quickly admitted and immediately treated in the ER. Numerous items of care were done. Excellent doctor, nurses, and technicians! Everyone was so professional, so knowledgeable, and so nice.
I highly recommend this hospital!

I had to report Pam whom works in the X-ray department! She spoke very ugly towards us and also was handling my 15 month old babies arm aggressively! She told me that my 15 month old wouldn’t follow command! I reported her I and hope disciplinary actions occur! She bossed around the other lady whom was in the same room working the x ray machines that worker acted like she was scared of Pam! I wouldn’t allow her to xray a rodent the way she talks and handles people! She’s very old and tired of her job she needs to retire and give it up she has no patience working with people let alone babies! Very hateful lady!

I was there because the NP in a walk in clinic sent me there the staff really took good care of me but I got a little bit ? when the practitioner came to talk to me she never listened my heart or my ears the usual thing that doctor's does when they walk in she asked questions ordered a bunch of different tests and also and X-ray I jumped got surprised how medicine have changed ?. When she came to give me the results I thought she will be listening to me before she let me go home didn't happen so if you have some stomach bug messing with your stomach will be great if she listens ? what the intestines are saying ?.
I also noticed that it doesn't matter if the door stays open I thought it part of the HIPPA policy but it doesn't matter much here.

I would like to thank an employee that went above and beyond to help us. I don’t know her last name, but her first name is Kelly. She works on 3rd floor in the sleep study dept.

Tammi and Tollie took care of us today and they were exceptional. Tammi was so extremely thorough and personable, and Tollie's bedside manner was excellent. The visit was surprisingly fast. Tammi really went above and beyond answering all of my questions. The triage staff was really great as well
