I have been a 2 year patient of Dr Manila Bobba at Desert Palms Medical Associates in Bullhead City AZ. Dr Bobba helped me during a difficult time of recovery from total knee replacement surgery. She was concerned during my routine appointments with her that my lab results showed highly elevated enzymes to my system. After several lab tests & x-rays & eventually a sonogram it was determined I required immediate abdominal surgery. Dr Bobba was relentless to find out what was going on. I am very grateful for her professional medical expertise. Thank you Dr Bobba!!

Called and spoke with Heather. She was very rude and I could not believe when I asked to the office manager that she is it! If she speaks to patients that way I cannot imagine how she speaks to staff. Wish the providers in this office would re-work their staff for a more pleasant experience.

After reading these reviews I wondered if we were seeing the same medical staff that was reviewed. We have been going to Dr Malik for several years and have NEVER experienced any amount of disrespect nor unprofessional behavior. The support staff has always been courteous and timely. As regards to Heather, we can't even imagine who these reviews are talking about. There was a time several years ago that some office aspects needed addressed and when they were all involved needed a learning curve . We have the highest regards and respect for Dr. Malik and Heather and the staff and wouldn't think of going anywhere else for our care ....we'd give this medical practice a 5 out of 5

Originally, I was told I could get hormones prescribed here. But then I was only told later that the doctor couldn't actually prescribe hormones, but I could be referred to a specialist. Yet, despite this when I actually got to the doctor the only specialist i could be referred to was all the way in Vegas. I already had a doctor in Vegas, and the whole point was trying to get a doctor that's closer to me to prescribe hormones because Vegas is too far away for me to afford to drive there anymore. After this, I feel more discouraged than ever before and I would have been better off setting $120 on fire. They were nice though.

*WARNING* This place has gone completely down hill since Kim Butler left. The office manager by the name of Heather is one of the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever dealt with. I definitely do not recommend this medical office unless you like to be disrespected and talked down to. On countless occasions they have not been open when the appointment was scheduled for with no notice and when called to ask about why that is they will give you an attitude and deny it. I doubt they will be in business very much longer unless they get a complete overhaul of their staff.

I'm really surprised to see this place doesn't have a Yelp page.. the reviews I've read so far are 50/50 bad and good. My initial visit was hysterical, I made an appointment and had kidney stones, the incompetent receptionist told me to email her back my paperwork and the doctor reviews it then contacts me for an appointment. Does this sound reasonable or ethical at all? I actually work in the medical industry and have never heard of this..

The medical assistants and the PA I saw was really competent. The wait time to schedule an appt is ridiculous because of the influx of patients and people moving to town.. horrible but I know I'll have to probably come back. At least the people who answer the phone are nice so thank you!

If I could give zero stars I would! My pharmacy faxed Dr.Malik’s office on March 4th 2020 for my medication refills, it is now March 16th and STILL no response from this office. I have been out of my pills now for 12 days!! I have called and left messages for his medical assistant and also the office manager and still nothing. I drove to their office this morning to talk to someone in person about this and was treated very rudely by an employee named “ Alyssa” she should NOT be working with the public let alone sick people. She is very cold hearted, rude and totally unprofessional. No bedside manner at all! My elderly mother has also been without her medication for 8 days now too. It’s obvious that they don’t care about their patients. We are currently looking for another doctor. Please think twice and maybe three times before thinking about going here. I plan on making a report with the state medical board. No one should be treated this way!!

This office is very busy, but even with the exception of that, these providers are amazing! Kim Butler is one of the best providers I have ever had. They have gone above and beyond for my care.
