Sequoia Hospitals mission, vision and values are top notch. I'm treated with the utmost kindness, respect. I witness others treated the same way very unique. First entering the ER, the first person you see is the guard who is very pleasant. It's a different atmosphere then what I'm used to. Other medical practices need to adopt this kindness. It's so important for the patient. The admitting clerk is the next person you see. I had a spasm happening while I was answering her questions and I couldn't talk for a moment because of the pain. She was very attentive and very patient and I didn't feel rushed at all. The whole staff is wonderful. I love this Hospital.

Well, I just went in on April 15 to have a total knee replacement. I have to be there by 5 o’clock in the morning. The first person I saw was the Security second person was admitting. I was greeted politely with a big smile on her face I was sent to a waiting room where I waited with a couple other people The weight was probably 10 minutes tops I was greeted. I was given my information I was taken to recovery where they started me with an IV and they gave me a warm blanket. The nurses were there were very sweet very kind and caring. Then I saw the anesthesiologist and my doctor And then I was taken to surgery after surgery I went to recovery for an hour and a half I was greeted again with the nurses very nice very kind very caring. Then I was sent to my room in the third floor. I don’t remember all the nurses names because of the drugs that they gave me. But what I can say, is that they did take excellent care of me the way I was supposed to be taken care of. Everyone treated me with top respect.

I saw my physical therapist. They had me walking the same day, of course I walked the halls bc of the nerve block, bc I knew I could.

They did the rounds in the middle of the night to check on me. To make sure I was OK.
I couldn’t have asked for a better Hospital to take care of me for my total knee replacement and they were very kind and sweet to my family as well. That’s a plus! so yes I would have surgery at Sequoia HOSPITAL again if I need one, which I hope I don’t.

Thank you so much for everyone that took good care of me. May God bless you all.

While you never want to go to the ER, this was as good of an experience as I could have hoped for. Thankfully I wasn’t too ill but I needed an ultrasound. The doctors and nurses took my care seriously and it was relatively quick to see the doctor and get the technician. The whole staff was friendly.

It was a relatively slow time, but you could tell they focused on seeing patients and discharging them as fast as the care would allow. Yet they still took a few minutes to have pleasant chats.

I have been in the surgery center 2 times, for knee and ankle issues.
The staff there went above and beyond their responsibilities, from the nurse in the preparation room, the anesthesiologist and the nurses in the recovering room. Each one of them treated me with respect and by my name. They did all what were in their hands to explain me the procedure, to make feel comfortable and calm. They over exceeded my expectations.

This is the most caring, responsible, professional, and responsible practice of medicine I have ever seen.
They have been in charge of my 96-year-old mother’s health for the past year, have kept her alive and she has been able to spend more time with our family, despite her multiple ailments. They are among the top medical practitioners in this field.
Thank you for caring for my mother with such dedication. Our family is very grateful.

I had hip replacement surgery in November 2024. My entire experience with Dignity Health at Sequoia Hospital was excellent. Very professional and kind staff, technically very strong, efficient and everyone was completely focused on the patient. I was up and walking 3 hours after the operation and went home the same evening. Three weeks later and I am walking normally (but still regaining flexibility and strength through ongoing physical therapy, as expected). I highly recommend Dignity Health at Sequoia Hospital for any medical procedure.
