It was my first time in the ER and the doctors and nurses were amazing! Nurse Brandon made sure I was comfortable and all my needs were met. He forsure made a huge impact on making me feel positive with the issue I was going in for. I appreciate all the staff for taking care of me and ensuring all my needs were met along with answering all my questions with confidence.

Great hospital. Truly wonderful Dr and nurses, staff and others made my stay as comfortable as possible under the circumstances of my illness. I had an MRI done and they were excellent. They got me in and out quickly, the environment was clean and the staff were friendly. It was a great experience with nothing bad to say at all.

The only reason I didn’t give a five was because of the doctor. My nurse, Harry, deserves a ten. The doctor treated me like he had no time for me. I was there from sun down until sun up. He spoke to me twice. Upon arrival and upon release, both times for about one minute. Some of the doctors really show their biases when they see someone has an addiction. Maybe some sensitivity training is in order?

I received outstanding care during my entire stay at St. Joseph Hospital. I was taken by ambulance from the Sutter urgent care facility in Stockton due to the advanced stage of my illness. The emergency room was lined up with ambulances as they were busy as usual. In practically no time ( less than thirty minutes) I was being seen and treated by the ER doctors and moved to the Critical Care Unit. My care there was professional, though and each step along the journey to my stabilization I was informed by the hospital Internal Medicine, Surgical team and nurses what the condition of my diagnosis meant and what the options and outcome were or could be. Each day these Dr.s would come in and give me an update on the progression of the situation, sending me to the CAT SCAN to update the size and growth or in my case the shrinking of the abscess.
I feel so grateful for Dr. Russo who several times was willing to accommodate my wife who wanted to be there during his visits I couldn't have asked for this type of person...God sent him to us and we prayed for him and the entire staff everyday after he was finished updating my condition and what my aftercare options were. Amen
I have taken his advice and have appointments with surgeon and the doctors who will provide updated information they will need for a successful outcome.

Thank you to all of the Nurses who kept my spirits up and this was priceless and greatly appreciated.

Although St. Joseph's was extremely busy they were fast and efficient. My nurse Stewart was amazing and caring. He is truly an asset to St. Joseph's Medical Center.

The staff did an excellent job. The hospitalist determined that I was not an emergency and would not admit me. I was told to make an appointment with my PCP to get a referral to a surgeon. The surgeons in Stockton could not see me for two months. I suffered for another month before being able to see a surgeon in Tracy who removed my infected gallbladder the next week. I am now on the mend but no thanks to St. Joseph’s Hospital! Needless to say the Christmas season was not very merry!
