Understaffed, 1.5 months to get an appointment with primary care doctor. Rushed through the appointment, foreign doctor not easy to understand.

6/21/2022 - UPDATE: I am still waiting on a referral from that visit which by the way, it was marked as "urgent". I have been paying for almost 3 months full monthly payment... for nothing. So much for "Human Kindness"
6/29/2022 - UPDATE - They said the referral was authorized month an a half ago but no one notified me of my referral.

By the time I see the specialist more than 4 months would have passed, meanwhile, the bill keeps coming monthly and I have no choice but to pay it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!

I always seem to get into the
lab within ten min or less when I drop by. They do a good job. But today, cannot find out hours of business. The site says hours may change! Tried Calling with no luck. Response was. "They didn't tell us hours of lab operation today!" Must have Appt now....set up on line.

Competent enough care if you can actually get an appointment. Most of the time we have to drive to Woodland to see someone, which is not convenient for us as Davis residents. They used to be open some off hours but no longer, so less availability for more urgent issues. The new urgent care is in Woodland, and no appointment so you have to sit in chairs to wait. Probably better if you live in Woodland. I am switching to a doctor/practice in town.

Everyone has been very respectful and kind. The clinic seems very well managed. I’ve never had to wait long and the Doctor I see is very thorough. The lab follows through beautifully.

I had symptoms of a growing fibroid and they not only failed to recognize it. They put me on a prescription that made it grow due to failing to identify the symptoms. I had to switch doctors and ultimately have 2yrs of treatment and surgery that were ALL PREVENTABLE HAD THESE DOCTORS NOT BEEN SO DISMISSIVE about my symptoms.
Had to go to a different clinic to even first get a diagnosis.
This clinic and all its doctors are garbage.

I am currently having a major and unbelievable problem with Woodland Health Care and Dignity Health that is preventing me from receiving important medical treatment. Amazingly this does not have to do with the performance of medical staff who seem to be doing their jobs just find but the byzantine bureaucratic maze of the Dignity Health billing and accounting systems. The first problem I have had concerns the incorrect billing by Dignity Health in which I am being billed for an office visit by a doctor in one of the medical groups that make up dignity health. Now I’m sure this doctor is fine person and competent in his field. The only problem is I have never seen or even met this doctor and have never been to his office. I tried to contact the Dignity Health billing department and talked to several of their representatives – most of whom tried to be helpful although one was incredibly rude. The rude one was irritated with me because I didn’t understand Dignity Health’s internal billing processes and was more focused on being right than finding out or even understanding what happened. Among the things I understood from the Dignity Health billing people where:

* I in fact did see a doctor that I have never met at an office and address I have never been to

* Although Dignity Health/Woodland has a contract with Health Net to provide network health services, I was told that Dignity doesn't know what doctors are on that contract

* I was told Dignity doesn't know what services they are supposed to provide under that contract

* Health Net tells me that Dignity Health/Woodland Health does too know what doctors work under that contract and what services are provided.

* Three Dignity Health representatives told me they would call me back regarding the billing issues. To date, no one has called me back.

* Dignity billing representatives don’t know what the bill is for, when the services where provided or where. All they know is whether or not you have paid the bill.

I am scheduled for an expensive but common medical procedure. I called in advance to confirm that it was covered. I received a voice mail that they don’t know whether or not the procedure is covered. I am probably going to have to cancel this procedure because no one down there knows whether or not its covered.

Now you might say why don’t you contact their ombudsperson? Good idea and I have tried it. The only trouble is that while Dignity’s website has all sorts of content about how great they are, I cannot find a link for a complaint process or an ombudsman/ombudsperson. They do have a grievance form for United Health Care but that doesn’t help for a problem with services provided through a contract with Health Net. But then, I guess, why would Dignity Health/Woodland Health have an ombudsperson or complaint process for a contract with Health Net when they have told me they don’t know what is in the contract in terms of authorized services and authorized health providers.

Now if someone from Dignity or Woodland Health Care happens to monitor Google reviews, I would welcome the assistance of someone who could trouble shoot this problem. I am not stating that Dignity Health Care or Woodland Healthcare is unethical or dishonest. I am simply relating my experience and what I can recall of it. There may very well and probably is an innocent explanation that just requires someone to cut through the bureaucracy.

I have had good health care overall from Woodland Health. I hate to not recommend them. But this has become a nightmare that will probably require an outside investigation to resolve. As much as I like their medical staff, at this point I don’t see how I can get health care through them in the future.

If someone from Dignity Health/Woodland Health can help me to resolve this problem, I will update this review and my rating.

Been coming here for over 10 years and everyone is really nice. My doctor (Dr. Kevin Mould) is amazing and easy to talk with. I've moved from Davis but didn't want to stop coming here.

The blood lab people are always nice. I just called and was told the hours on weekdays are 7:30 am to 5:00pm but they close for lunch, usually around noon to 1:00pm.
