I cannot recommend this nursing facility based on the care my beloved mother received, especially during the night shifts. After her passing,( during the night shift) I was left with many unanswered questions.I would have liked basic information — like her last recorded vitals, the time she was last checked on, and whether any life-saving measures (such as CPR) were attempted — and no one could provide clear answers.

To make matters worse, four of my mother’s personal belongings went missing after her death.

While I want to give credit to three CNAs (Amy, Alex, and Myra) who consistently treated my mother with kindness and respect, the overall care was inconsistent and often inadequate. I spoke several times with the assistant director of nursing about recurring issues: long response times to call lights, delays in providing breathing treatments, and general neglect of basic needs. My mother was mentally sharp and fully aware, but physically dependent on staff for mobility and personal care. She deserved far better.

Another moment that stood out — and not in a good way — was the call I received to inform me of her death. The woman who called was polite, but her tone was far too upbeat for such devastating news. It felt jarring and inappropriate.

This experience has been deeply painful, and I share it in hopes that serious improvements will be made for the sake of other families.

I wish I had time to write a book about my mother’s 24-hour experience in the East Wing, but I’ll keep it short and simple: the night shift needs to be fired. If you have loved ones in there—GET THEM OUT. The CNAs did not do their rounds, so if you think your loved one is being checked on, they are not.

I have to give credit where it’s due—first shift was wonderful, and I can say that with confidence. But the night shift made me sick to my stomach. I have never been so uneasy in my life. I ended up in the hospital from the stress of their neglect.

Also I have never been to a nursing home that didn’t have central heating and cooling?!
Their sorry excuse for a window unit was also full of mold!

My husband passed away there last month. He was there almost 2 years and in the beginning he received good care, then as time went by the quality of care reduced. He passed away on September 6 from dementia at which time his life insurance company requested the staff doctor complete an assessment form. It has been a month and I still don't have the paper. Then recently I have found out the doctor who was been treating my husband is 82 years old. I am investigating now to see if he is still licensed to practice, because Something isn't right. My son just went in to try to get it and the administrator threw him out and threatened to call the police on him. Something is seriously wrong with this place. I wouldn't recommend leaving your dog there.

The staff here are very caring and supportive. They took my mother under their wing and was so wonderful in her time there. Other people in her life didn’t support the help she was being given so they took her out. But I send out all my prayers to the staff there who do a great service!

First, I would like to say that the staff here is so caring. They went above and beyond for my Mom and really showed so much compassion. They got 4 stars because of the care she received. I left off a star because if I’m being honest it needs some serious cleaning. The residents are always clean and taken care of but the floor and bathrooms need work a lot. I often had to bring cleaning stuff and wipe things down. If they can get that taken care of it would be even better. We had one or two issues with staff but honestly there are way more that are amazing and care so the few that don’t aren’t worth mentioning.
Probably could use more activities as well.

Hands down one of the best nursing homes I’ve ever seen. It has vending machines for the residents and amazing courtyard and garden with turtles and flowers and Bingo. It also has a nursing home cat Lucy that the residents love and feed and give treats to. It has some of the most caring, knowledgeable, and experienced staff and great food with taco soup. This facility really goes above and beyond deserves nursing home of the year!

This Center is always friendly and engage with visitors. The building was very clean. The Administrator and DON go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The Administrator is working on customer relations every day, 24/7.
