All team members are very helpful in this Center. I was their at Christmas time and the Center was decorated the best I have seen in any Centers. You can tell a lot of love went into decorating the Center. The residents loved the decorations.

My father-in-law stayed there for his physical therapy after falling and breaking his hip. The bathroom was so bad in his first room that he slipped in the urine on the floor and had to go back to the hospital for x-rays! After about 5 days in the smallest room he had to share, he was moved. His 2nd room wasn't as dirty. But they never answer the phone, I can never get ahold of his nurses or doctor. The physical therapist is the only one that has shown any care for him.

My grandfather was placed in here at the very end of 2021 when his dimensia made it to hard for my grandmother to care for him at their assisted living facility. My mother and uncle knew how terrible this place was and did not want him going here, but had no choice except to place him here temporarily while they waited for a space to open up at a more adequate facility. Unfortunately he did not live a month before we lost him. This places cares absolutely nothing about their patients. My mother bought him a lot of new clothes and labeled them but when she was visiting he was always in someone else’s worn out clothing bc his had been “lost.” Either she or my uncle had to make sure he was fed every day (an hour drive for her) bc the staff would
neglect to feed him even though they were aware he couldn’t feed himself. While he was here, he contracted COVID and pneumonia. He also fell and hit his head once and they neglected to tell us. We were only informed bc another patient in the room witnessed it and let us know. I know he was taken from us too soon bc of this place.

The one star isn’t even granted. My nana has been in there care for the past two weeks and she is in worse shape than she was when she came. I went to see her and she had the same clothes on that she had had for the past week. Her brief wasn’t connected, her pants weren’t even pulled up past her thighs!! The room was a mess with clothes and dirty briefs everywhere by the closet. She had been in the same position that she was the night before (still in the same clothes ). The staff doesn’t seem to care and when you go past others rooms you see the same thing. Do not take your loved ones here. They won’t give adequate care that is needed. In my opinion, you don’t need to be working in a healthcare facility if you’re not going to do your job for those who can’t do it themselves!!

The one star is only because you can't do zero stars. My mother was in this place for about a week. Her medication was usually late, the phones are rarely answered and when they do answer, you get transferred to another phone where they dont answer. She would have her call light on, but had to call me to try and get her nurse to bring her some medication for pain because her call light would go unanswered. She said the food was bad and they never asked her if she wanted a snack or anything. To those nurses and others who work there, if you have lost your compassion for other people, you need to just find another occupation. This is not for you!!!! Shame on you?

I have visited many facilities and there’s not one that has such a home type environment line Diversicare WINFIELD. . You can hear laughter in halls , the has freedom as though they were home. Everyone has a right to theist opinion , but this place is full of LOVE❤️

The one star is for the physical/ occupational therapists & for staff who wear masks and try to follow COVID-19 protocols, which are otherwise arbitrarily enforced. This facility is over-crowded, a very old building (from the 50s!) makes me wonder what kind of buildings management works out of? I doubt they have to endure such terrible conditions. Awful food. Never answer the phone. Do your family member a favor and look elsewhere.

My mama was there, she got excellent care. I was very happy with the staff and therapy department.
