I have had the best experience with Dr. Dores and all of his staff. They have always made my comfort their priority, and with my family history of bad teeth, they have really gone above and beyond to get me to a place of comfort with my mouth. Everyone is so friendly and they are always fast to get me in, and help resolve any of my concerns. I highly recommend this practice!!

This dentist office just called me unannounced in the middle of a work day to explain a review I posted A YEAR AGO (it was very detailed- all you had to do is READ IT)...

Look, it takes a LOT for me to post a 1-star after having given a 5-star review.

Stop gaslighting and calling it a "miscommunication." There were too many things that most reasonable people would consider unacceptable.

You:
1. Refused to treat my daughter's cavities after her exam (without explanation!)
2. Had bumped her existing appointment very last minute and were unaccommodating, inflexible, and unapologetic about it; WE did not cancel, you did.
3. Didn't have the decency to even explain why you were refusing to treat her cavities after her exam...we got there bright and early at 8 am on her birthday only to have our time wasted. We didn't want this time and day but you had given us an ultimatum after cancelling the appointment she previously had - at the last minute.
4. Unapologetic about wasting our time.
5. Grossly exaggerated the # of cavities that needed filling (It was 4, NOT 10, per her current dentist.).
6. Gave a bad referral (dentist they referred her to only took patients UNDER 14, she just turned 19). So, I had to find one myself (*AWESOME* customer service). Lina: the fact that she has MassHealth is NOT an excuse to give her a bogus referral AND to decide to not treat her in the middle of the appointment! Another reviewer named Grisselle had a similar issue. Lina, how do you live with yourself lying through your teeth like that? This is a MassHealth microaggression and it's NOT appreciated. You had been trying to coax me to switch my kids' dentist for months and when we finally did, this is how you treat them? You KNEW my daughter has MassHealth - I told you up front. I had MassHealth too, and and you had no problem treating me for what would normally be very expensive work. But my daughter's fillings? GOD, no. Send her ELSEWHERE. THIS is what you had us switch dentists for? She had a GREAT pediatric dentist (The Kids Place). But she was now 19...
7. When I called the dentist referral, while still in the waiting room after my daughter's exam, they told me my daughter had to be under 14. Insurance was not even brought up. The hygienist who gave me the bad referral straight up IGNORED ME and turned her back when I attempted to inform her it wasn't a good referral. RUDE.
8. My own current dentist also feels that Dr. Dores replaced my teeth with crowns prematurely (I guess there's big $ to be made in that... someone else on here mentioned this).

Don't call people about reviews. Especially out of the blue a whole year later. It's tacky. If you really must, at least LISTEN. Don't argue, interrupt, and gaslight when YOU are calling me to ask me why I left that review. Lina made a comment that "you have a lot of complaints." What an awful, gaslighting individual. I had initially given a 5 star review, but how my daughter was treated was not acceptable. So did you really call me a year later for me to explain my review or just attempt to dress me down?

Have some class and learn from your feedback. It's valid and it's there for a reason.

Very professional and gentle.
My insurance didn't cover a part of an xray (allowed every 2 years).
Dores covered the cost of it for me, just so they could do a thorough exam.
They squeezed me in (I didn't ask to), to ensure if there was a bigger issue with my teeth, that it was addressed sooner than later.
I'm definitely going to stay here as a client - what a stark difference from my previous dental place!

Dores Dental is a place where no one with a disability may go. Don't waste your time with this Dentist if you have any health concerns in your life, as they do not consider your health at all! You will be kicked out of being seen in their office, no matter the reason, even if you missed an appointment due to medical reasons which are not under your control, they have no care or concern for your health and they will cut all services for your child and yourself and will no longer see you in their facilities. Disability or not they expect you to make it to their appointments under all conditions. If you try and be considerate and call to reschedule or cancel they will threatened you with getting kicked out from receiving services again even if you explain to them that it's due to your medical situation, they will still disregard you. Truthfully you people should be ashamed of yourselves! God doesn't like ugly!

At 71 I finally had enough insurance to fix my teeth. I had 2 cleanings with 2 different people. Both made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I needed 2 teeth extracted. Iris is an Angel! I couldn't have done it without her tender loving care. She held my hand through it all and spoke kind encouraging words. I needed 2 crowns. The Dr. Was extremely patient, understanding and gentle. He and his staff are so kind and caring. I will be recommending Dores Dental to everyone! I no longer have a fear of the dentist! From my heart and soul, Thank You all.

Recently, I had a crown that fell out from another dental office and it was replaced here and I’m over 7 months into it with the new crown and I love it. The dentist did such a fabulous job.
