Generally have good experiences with Dove's Landing Urgent Care. They tend to be much faster than the other clinics in town, although waits are increasing a bit as more people are using it compared to when I first started going there (I moved out of the area for 3 years).

Some of the doctors I have seen (mostly the younger ones) when I've needed to go in have been somewhat rude, condescending (as a lot of doctors tend to be anymore) and generally seeming like they are being forced at gunpoint to treat me. But I have also seen some real great doctors there, too.

Scott Perez is one of those great doctors. He spoke with me as if we were both, in fact, human and equal though he was the expert professional I was coming to with an issue. He had compassion and seemed to really be concerned with my well being and I felt I was in competent and caring hands. He instilled confidence and an atmosphere of safe well-being. A great bedside manner as they use to call it but don't seem to encourage in med school anymore.

Dr. Perez is the reason I am giving 5 stars instead of 3 to 4.

Place is a joke on top of a nightmare. I had to take my girlfriend in because she has severe back pain from a car crash. We were in there for 13 hours from 12:30 pm to 1:30 am and they never even found out what was the cause if it was a slipped disc or her sciatic nerve. They just started giving her different medicines and didn't even try and find out what was the cause of the pain. The whole 13 hours my girlfriend was in agonizing pain that caused her to not even be able to stand up straight or even sit up in a chair. I'll never go back to this nightmare of a place.

This places advertise as urgent care I came in when it opened at nine people were already here waiting room has cleared out several times for regular doctors appointments. Went to the desk to see how this place works. They told me I only have one person ahead of me been an hour and a half. Not urgent care. Will not be coming back

Nothing but quality care when I’ve needed it the most. Just went in yesterday when I had been sick for a week. Kind receptionist at check-in, nurse that took my vitals was sweet and doctor that diagnosed me was thoughtful and looked me in the eye to really listen as I told him my symptoms. 100% recommend the care at all of the Oroville Hospital medical units. Since 2020 I have completely switched my medical care to Oroville Hospital. Thanks for giving Butte County more than one choice to visit for your family medical needs.

Garbage. Was told to sign in and she would call us up to register. The registration nurse leaves for a whole 45 MINUTES comes back and calls me up. She had seen me pull out my insurance cards when I first signed mine and my son's name on the clipboard, but she still chose to wait 45 minutes to tell me they don't even take Medi-cal! Why would you leave us sitting waiting to register when you knew immediately you were going to turn us away. So there we are in pain and suffering in the waiting room and wasting time, my son with Strep and me with meningitis! Now we're sitting at another clinic waiting for my son to be seen so that I can hurry up and get to the hospital! Ridiculous, unprofessional, uncaring.

The urgent care area doesn't actually open until 9am. Even though it says 8am online.

The receptionist was rude. I felt like I inconvenienced her, because I was there for Urgent Care.

Now I've been waiting for almost an hour for the doctor to see me. Meanwhile, I can hear all the staff laughing and conversing.

I'm in a lot of pain, and I didn't even want to come here, because it's almost always like this.

Oroville hospital related facilities remain to be the worst I've ever been to. After waiting 2 hours at Doves landing urgent care (when they told me it was a 45min -1hour wait) the MA was awesome, but informed me they are out of flu tests and could only offer a Covid test... she spent more time with me than the actual physician! the physician spent maybe 2 minutes with me to tell me I'm fine... I explained I'm not fine and I have a respiratory infection and was wanting to inquire about an antibiotic. (As I've had this congestion for over a month now! And it's finally hitting me hard) he told me they can't prescribe antibiotics for pregnant women... I explained my OB office suggested I went to urgent care to look into getting an antibiotic...he wasn't even going to preform an exam on me! I explained it hurt to breathe, hurts to cough, and ive thrown up multiple times today... And he tells me I'm fine and to get over the counter Robitussin... so I ask, at the very least, that he sends a prescription in so that my insurance covers the Robitussin. It's been over an hour and he still has yet to send anything in to the pharmacy. What a joke!
