Fall of 2022, I felt super off (only 18 at the time) and was referred to Cerel with no past medical issues. Told me it was anxiety, prescribed anxiety medication. I didn’t take it, I don’t have anxiety. Went to a different cardiologist in my home state, had two heart monitors and a tilt table within 6 months. Diagnosed with NPOTS. We’ve been trying to use different methods of relief for three years now, but at least they know that people don’t just pass out all of the time from “anxiety”. I got a call today saying that I have an appointment with him, absolutely not. Thanks for nothing!

Dr. Cerel is an excellent doctor and will give him * 5 stars… But the reception desk is a joke. They have the TV on in high volume in the waiting room and when I asked to turn that down they said “no!” They have it loud because of the HIPAA law for patience privacy? 🧐 saying that with a stern look at their face. One time I thought to call before going to the Dr appointment while already on our way and they said we’re leaving early today, we meant call you…. When are they going to call, was already time to leave for the appointment… they rescheduled and never called when the next appointment is; I found out when I thought to call. Dr. Cerel you need to do something about your reception people!!!

I was a patient of Dr. Cerel 20 years ago when he treated my A-phib. He was great and I wish I could find another like him. I moved south in 12 and just haven’t found any doctor that even comes close to his level. You’re in excellent hands with Dr. Adam.

Dr. Cerel is a fine doctor, listens and will answer any questions you have, makes you feel very comfortable. Very compassionate, not too many doctors can make you feel, they care. I’ve been seeing him years now, and he is aware of my two mild heart valve leakage problems, and will always check me further, and ask if I have any new symptoms. He will always say call me, if anything changes and does tests periodically to recheck. The nurses and office people are very nice, but I think he could use a bigger office, his office is very small. Other than that, he is very smart and is very knowledgeable in his field. I trust his experience as a cardiologist. His time and experience as a doctor, do count to me, and his schooling and training in Boston are also important. Any time I talk to a patient of his, I always hear praise for him, as a doctor.

Dr Cerel’s staff are welcoming and professional. Dr Cerel is great at establishing a rapport that allows doctor/patient communication to flow efficiently. Sometimes during an office visit I get the feeling Dr Cerel is at some level in contact with my heart while reading the various tests, imaging and blood results in my chart. When I raise an anomaly or new symptom, the next thing I know I have orders for a diagnostic test. He gives me confidence that this far my ticker is okay, and that he will be able to let me know if that changes. Also, laughter is frequently heard in the office always a good sign

This might be the worst experience and staff I have ever dealt with in the medical profession. Waiting for surgery and not only did he not provide the proper documents and when hospital staff and doctor called to make sure I was all set. Staff was rude and Dr Cerel hung up on anesthesiologist! Unacceptable!!!
