I took part in the two part CA Prenatal Screening program and the second part of my test came back at a high risk for Down syndrome. My doctor had referred me to Obstetrix for genetic counseling as well as further testing, all of which should have been covered by the state due to the negative result. The genetic counseling was awesome as well as the ultrasound techs! However, we were scheduled for the following week to get a "better view" of our little ones heart and kidney (soft marker for DS). We were told directly by the doctor that the following visit would covered due to it being further testing, it was not. At the follow-up visit we were "recommended" to have yet ANOTHER ultrasound to check a few weeks later for the dilation of the kidney that was no longer dilated? We later received an outrageous bill and were told that the visits AFTER the genetic counseling wouldn't be covered as said by the doctor (Sushma Jwala) herself, we'd be responsible, which is annoying but will obviously be taken care of.. Just a heads up. I feel like this place can take advantage of someone in a vulnerable situation like we were.

I experienced unprofessional and very aggressive nurse named Julie a short blonde haired lady who literally argued with me an 8 month pregnant women and lied to my face about giving me a lab slip and until another nurse came in and confirmed I was right and that nurse Julie was not. She was still rude even in her apology I asked for a different nurse as I didn’t want to speak with her any more. I had gotten another nurse to give me a shot and she was so sweet and she even complained about her and said “how do you think we feel we have to work with her” after all this she still tried to come in and talk to me and I’m like are you serious leave me alone I don’t want to speak with you and I ended up crying. Ask for any nurse but Julie she is horrible and aggressive for no reason.

Collection of most insensitive, impersonal set of physicians. Their ego's are bigger then themselves.

They are not high risk clinic. We faced a high risk situation and their response was to terminate the pregnancy. They refused to recommend any other physician for second opinion. When we did research and asked questions, the physician refused to answer and acted upset that we should trust his judgement and terminate the pregnancy. We now have heathy twins because we didn't listen to these egotistical maniacs.

They employ a doctor (!!!) called Sushma Jwala. I am sure she is the worst doctor anyone can ever see.

My wife and I went here for a 19w scan. She presented what is a one in a million chance of anomaly as if it was 100%. We were shocked and devastated.

We were smart enough to get a 2nd opinion from a better doctor (any random perinatologist is better than her) and got another scan at Stanford. The doctor there told us that everything looked good. And now we have a lovely daughter.

If it was up to this Dr. Jwala, we would have thought about alternative options (through her recommended genetic counselor).

Pregnancy is an important time of life for both parents. DON'T go here unless you want to ruin this wonderful experience.

My wife always has to wait 1 hour to get to see the doctor, this is very annoying. That's just the beginning, they diagnosed our baby with a rare condition and it was a false alarm, we could not sleep for a week until we got a proper diagnostic.

I was there today and from the moment I arrived to the parking lot to the moment I left everything went so perfect..
I was a little worried before going there because the reviews I read ... but everything was extremely good!
No delay in appointment, no waiting .. Receptionists, Technicians, MAs, and Doctor were so professional and nice .. place is clean and comfortable.. parking is so easy..
So yeah 5 stars 👍🏻

Worst place to be there for ultrasound. They waste so much of your time, you need to sit for two hours or more to wait. Very rude and unprofessional staff. I would never want to come back here. Pls pls avoid this place.

I haven't had a problem with a doctor or a tech here, but they NEVER return voicemails. Ever.
