They mailed me a Discharge Letter, Ending Dr. Garofalo as my primary physician because I don't get enough physicals. Dr. Garofalo has been my primary for a good 20 plus years. I am always in great health. A father of 3, and I own two businesses. I have visited his office a total of 3-4 times in 20 years. Last year I went to the emergency room for extreme stomach pains. They kept me for a day and did extensive testing and reviews. They sent the records to Dr. Garofalos office. The office called and asked me to schedule a physical. I explained to them that the emergency room did 10 times what they consider a physical (check heart beat, cough etc.). They never checked the documents, they did not follow up with me. This year I went to a skin specialist. I work outside. I had my entire body check with a special light tool for any indication of skin cancer. They sent the documents to Dr. Garofalos office. The office called me the next day and asked in a rude manner if Dr. Garofalo was still my primary. I said yes. She was very unprofessional and said "Well, you have not been in here for a while", you need to come in for a Physical". She than said we require you to come in more than you have been and you have not had a physical in three years. It bothered me that they don't show any care for my health, but only care to schedule me for a general physical. If I am not making the Doctor enough money, and if I choose to see a specialist or go to an emergency room rather than him. In 2020 (year of Covid) I must have received 15 calls to come into his office. This is not the Stock Market, I am not a stock that makes you money. Your a doctor, you should take a more caring approach and don't get mad if your patient sees a specialist, because they believe it is in their best interest.

Dr. Garofalo has been my primary care doctor for more than a decade. A couple of times I was hospitalized and each time he came to the hospital to check on me. I have 100% confidence in his knowledge and ability.
