Dr. Costa is an amazing asthma and allergy doctor. I previously saw another provider at his practice, but they left, and I became his patient. He listens to everything you say and takes your point of view into context when prescribing and adjusting doses. He was concerned when I ran out of a prescription antacid (due to an error by my PCP), he gave me tips on how to get by until I could see my PCP. He was also able to lower me to one dose of my inhaler for most days.

warning, see another specialist he is extremely close minded and was argumentative. he refused to listen to any other ideas and instead prescribed prednisone to my 10-year-old with no alternatives and no solution for how to prevent the allergic reaction we will not be going back.

Dr. John Costa is a excellent allergist, he literally saved my life. The office staff at the Buzzards Bay location that I go to are also outstanding. If your on the fence between this office or another this is the place to go!

I was extremely disappointed in our visits with Dr. Costa. He is unprofessional and lacks the ability to listen to with his patients. This was our second visit and his second chance. Very disappointed and will never return.
