Excellent Care, I have been under the care of Dr. Alia since 2014 and he is the best PCP I have ever had. Dr. Alia is knowledgeable, attentive, and empathic. I trust him, because he is honest, listens, is focused and then gives constructive feedback. I greatly appreciate this and the care he gives. His medical staff is wonderful too! I am very lucky to have Dr Alia and his medical staff!

Dr. Alia's a wonderful doctor. He listens to my concerns, never rushes me and his treatment recommendations are always right on. He addresses every thing I have questions about and if I need specialized help, his staff arranges the referral as soon as possible. His P.A.'s are just as wonderful as he is. I have several health issues and I've never left his office feeling like I wasn't treated with kindness, understanding and professionalism. There is a lab and x-ray machine in the office plus, the office is always clean. In fact, I was forced to change my primary care to another doctor due to my insurance carrier change and his office manager was able to get his practice signed up to my new insurance within a few months and I changed back as soon as I was able. His entire staff are always friendly and helpful, no exceptions. I'd recommend him and his staff to anyone, and have to many.

Dr. Alia is a Wonderful and very caring doctor, the kind of doctor we patients want. You can talk to him about any problem you're having and he listens, unlike other doctors who just bush you off, because they really don't have time for you. All they want is your $$$. Go to doctor Alia you Won't be sorry, he also have a very nice staff.

i saw him and was taking only an antidepressant from him wayyy back in 1990 ish ... or perhaps early 2000 ... ( i still have my insurance card so can research it )

one day i was searching in my purse for a paper and pencil and he thought my behavior odd and tested me for drugs ...

which was 100 % clean of anything other than an Antidepressant and i did consult with a Psychiatrist after or During the time I saw Alia ...

and i often brought my knitting for social anxiety which he mocked saying i could Knit "Him" a sweater ( i was knitting a sweater for my Dog n he saw it and laughed )

.. I will be requesting those records on Monday ... by the Way they all say i look good for age 63 today ...

Trust me folks don't go to this rip off artist! What doctor in 2018 does not use standard medical gloves when examining a patient & picks his nose while talking to you ? No LIE, he actually did this time & time again. The medical practice in general is old & just plain dirty. I felt like I was talking to a used car salesmen from the 70's. There is nothing wrong with making $$$ as a Doctor but this guy took it to a different level, very sad but true 🙁 Also, the staff is very unprofessional & rude. Listen!!! Do not see Dr. Joseph Alia!!! You've been warned!!!

This Doctors office is great but the outside sitting area is horrendous with bird poop! Sit or walk through this and you definitely bound to get bird flu or something transmitted from the bird poop.
Someone needs to clean this up on a weekly basis.

I've been seeing Dr Alia for many years, even after I moved away from Tempe I drive all the way to see him. It is rare to find a dr who actually cares for their patients and doesn't just want your money. He takes his time to listen to me, talk to me and check me out throughly. Even when I'm fine and I think something's wrong he doesn't make me feel dumb for going in he reassures me that I'm fine and has even sent me to specialists to ease my mind. Anyways, great dr, great person!

First off, I think that Dr Alia is a very good doctor. However I'm having continued problems with the billing dept. When they took my blood for testing they sent it to Sonora Quest instead of my insurance providers lab testing company. I have tried working with their billing dept for 6 weeks now and nothing has been done. In the meantime, Sonora Quest keeps sending me bills for the bloodwork. The Dr's office is responsible for checking where the insured person's lab work should go and in my opinion, they made a mistake. I have called the Dr's office many times and they keep saying that they are working on it, but nothing is resolved
