I am currently under the care of Dr. Laura Paris. I cannot say enough about her and have already seen amazing results. In 2017 I was under the care of a functional medicine doctor after having gone through a horrible menopause. Not one doctor was helping me - GP, OBGyn, or Endocrinologist. I felt hopeless, so sought the guidance of a functional medicine doctor. My life changed forever. I started having some issues in the last year and decided to go that route again. Once a believer always a believer! My other doctor retired so I went on a Google search using key words - "hormones" & " functional medicine". I found Dr. Laura Paris. We had an initial call and I started under her care in early 2021. She was extremely thorough in her intake and asked a lot of important questions. We tested for hormones and also for the health of my GI tract. I was put on a plan that included supplements, mindful eating/nutrition, and exercise/movement. After 6-8 weeks I have lost 13 pounds with a few more to go. My body was very, very stuck. With healing and the reduction of inflammation, I truly believe my body is working again. I feel great. Next month we will have a follow up with retesting to see my results from that perspective. I love the support, the accountability, and the expertise that Dr. Paris brings to my ongoing health journey. I plan to move next year and I love that she will continue to be my function health doctor. I cannot recommend Dr. Paris enough!
