We needed specific help correcting my son’s lazy eye. We had tried patch therapy, but were running out of time to correct with little results. We switched to Dr Magalhaes after our old office closed and he is one of the few doctors in the area familiar with this issue. Per his suggestion we tried a different route to correct my son’s vision and it worked so much quicker and more effectively! I recommend this doctor for anyone having trouble finding an eye doctor for this issue!

My daughter was seen by Dr.nicole and we did her first contact consult,which she was phenomenal! Karen was so helpful teaching her how to use contacts for the first time!! The whole experience from front desk to exam to purchasing contacts was great!!!! Will def be recommending everyone here!

Not sure why they take appointments. Made an appointment for 2:40 got here early and waited over an hour for my eye exam because they took walk ins ahead of me.
Edit: So this business left a dishonest response to my review and had left me a voicemail pleading that I take the review down.

I was 15 minutes late for my appt coming from Boston traffic. The Dr. Still found a way to fit me in… I really appreciate service like this… and really had an easy quick appointment with the staff. Id recommend to anyone who needs their script renewed!

Also you can purchase glasses and get them made same day if needed. That is massive in a pinch.

Cant recommend this Dr and his team highly enough

Everyone in the office was helpful and friendly. The doctor I saw (not sure what his name is) was very knowledgeable and was happy to explain details about my eye health. Great experience, and thanks for getting me in on the same day!

Busy office but the staff are very kind and helpful! It may be busy but they do all they can to get you in as soon as possible to ensure your not waiting long. I probably waited like 10 mins before I was called in and I came in early for my appointment which was very convenient! If you’re looking for an eye doctor that you can easily book your appointment online at anytime, go in and get called in fairly quickly for your eye exam and get detailed advice on how to improve your eye health this will be your go to place! This was my first eye exam after getting my LASIK procedure and I’m happy to say the doctor gave me fabulous advice on how to help get rid of my dry eye issue and recommended some products and changes in my daily routine so my eyes can feel more comfortable!

I lost my glasses & since I was traveling in a week & long overdue for an eye exam I needed a place I could get an eye exam and glasses quickly. This was a one stop deal for me and so far I am very satisfied with their service and availability. I am still waiting for my glasses so once I get them I’ll know for sure. Their turn-around for a pair of transitional progressives is very quick as long as you choose gray over brown for the transitional lens. Dr. Magalhaes was very professional and inspired confidence. His staff was efficient and friendly. I’d go back!

Very timely! Dr. Hooks was very pleasant and professional! She has a very friendly manner about her that immediately put me at ease. The tech and secretary were wonderful as well. . Got a RX for my glasses, and then had them filled at LensCrafters the same day! Absolutely amazing! So satisfied! I told my husband to go here as well!
