I posted this review on Yelp as well: Dr. Varu has been my primary care doctor for several years. He is well beyond a primary care doctor as he is extremely knowledgable about all aspects of medicine and science. I always review the information I receive from my neurologist, and value Dr. Varu's input on my autoimmune/neurological disease. My yearly physical with Dr. Varu is extremely thorough. I never feel rushed and he always has time to answer all of my questions. His staff and nurses are very courteous, and I'm always seen at my appointment time - no waiting around for 30 minutes in the waiting room. He and his staff always call me immediately to discuss any report(s) they get back from my test results. The office also digitally communicates and reviews any important chart items from my other doctors. Truly a great office, staff, and a very special doctor. At my recommendation my wife became a patient of Dr. Varu's a couple of years ago, and is treated just as wonderful; he knows how important that is to me! Thank you Dr. Varu and team!

Two words - Friendly Doctor!

Dr. Varu took the time with me to discuss my general health, gave me advice that improved my fitness, and generally treated me like a human. The office is right off the freeway, free parking, no waiting, and took all my insurance.

I highly recommend Dr. Varu. After bouncing around to many general practitioners in the Glendale/Burbank area, I am glad to find this office. He is especially great with the 50+ crowd.

I second the review that said "friendly doctor!" I found Dr. Varu after needing to find a doctor in Burbank. I did my research and decided to go there. I'm glad I did. He's professional and warm. I feel he is looking out for me and my health. He's knowledgeable and caring and is not over eager to prescribe medication when diet and exercise can have the same effect. It's nice to feel cared for.

I love the esthetics of the office and the glass walls of his office.
He will be my primary care physician going forward.

Been coming to Dr Varu for almost 10 years, he's a great primary care doc. Attentive, doesn't rush you, his staff are also really nice and help with prescription followup, etc. Recommended if you are looking for a doc in the Burbank area.

For almost 10 years ( 17 years by now) Dr. Varu took the time to explore our health issues, needs and to follow up. He always explained the risks, alternatives and the options available.
Most likely the best family doctor you could find.

I went there for good reviews but I haven’t seen a doctor’s office this unprofessional in my life. Doctor himself is ok but wait is min 30mins every time. Last time, nurse couldn’t take blood after an extremely painful tries and there is no alternative and they said, they are doing me a courtesy. Not going back.

If I could give both the doctor and front of the house 0 stars, I would. Racist, condescending, arrogant, money hungry, least compassionate doctor I have ever come across -- pediatrics to geriatrics. Clearly only in it to make the most money out of each minute of his day. Sad to see how they reel you in with fake reviews. Those who said they never waited or "never felt rushed."

Side note : grimey medical facility...baseboards all around, especially where they take vitals and bathroom and patient rooms. Yikes. And then the outdated "beds" from the 90s, directly across from his adorned office and giant apple devices. ?
