Please note - great staff when you can reach them

This is a followup to a previous review. Since my initial review I had to get a follow up blood test. Test was done. I’ve called Dr Robinsons office 5 times over the past 4 weeks. Always get recording. I leave a message but never get a call back. Of course I’m changing doctors but appointments times are weeks away.

I agree with previous negative reviews. Been with this doctor over a year. Pray that you don’t require prompt curteous service. Service is horrible. They NEVER answer the phones and call backs takes days not hours. Dr Robinson is arrogant and condescending. They don’t followup on return visits. When they do send you for tests they do not follow up on those. The receptionist can be a little indifferent but I suspect it’s due to the work environment. The nurse that administers shot is very nice and thoughtful. I don’t typically write reviews and I’m one to give people and businesses the benefit of the doubt. But experience after experience here has been disappointing.

Wait time was over an hour after scheduled appointment. Front office staff was at best, impersonal and rude. No reason to treat patients so rudely, couldn't even extend a "good morning" when greeted. Thus was not a one-time experience. This has been a repeated occurrence at Dr. Robinson's office and the reason why I had to submit this review. People often say, why go to this doctor? Well, I'm now looking for another physician. Be aware of this practice.

I have been coming to Dr. Robinson for 14 years. He is well-educated, thorough, and polite. He has an excellent bedside-manner and will accurately diagnose your medical problem. Dr. Robinson is my PCP and he accurately diagnosed my torn meniscus (another benefit of being a D.O.) after an orthopaedic surgeon initially misdiagnosed me. This is just one example of how good he really is. My kids love him and feel very comfortable with him. His staff Fibi and Suzette are so friendly, polite, and helpful. If you are sent to a specialist or a lab, Dr. Robinson and his staff will follow up with you in a very timely manner to ensure you are informed and involved in your care. I recently moved to the Valley and Dr. Robinson agreed to continue my care so I would not have to start over with a new doctor. Dr. Robinson also is willing to try different treatment regimens if your issues are not improving over time. He is awesome and I highly recommend him!

I came in back in June for a sinus infection and he said he couldn't check my nose or my ears cuz of covid. So I said to him what is the problem cuz my dentist has already done death work on me this year. And he didn't answer me and instead he sent me home with a request for bone density test really I think it's time to change doctors and he suggestions Hayward Castro Valley area
