Avilla is hands down the best doctor I have ever been to. He takes the time to listen even when he is backed up. I have been going to Avilla for a couple years now and I wouldn't dream of going to another primary care doc. He is honest, caring, passionate, and genuine. When you're in the room with him he makes you feel like your his only patient, not just another dollar on his check.

Dr. Avilla is an excellent primary care doctor. He does not have a lot of ego wrapped up in his patient interactions, which is nice. He is good-natured and listens, researches if necessary and then does his doctor thing. I feel fortunate to have found him and would hate to lose him as my doctor, but it is getting extremely difficult and frustrating to communicate with the staff, to get answers, to make appointments, to get questions answered. I hope there is an office manager who can work to improve patient-staff communication.

Dr. Avila is the best Family Practice Physician I’ve been to in Chico. Due to changes involving Covid I can get in and out fairly quickly. I know he is listening to me and feel the decisions we make concerning my healthcare are indeed the best and appropriate.

Hands down the best bedside manner ever! He not only listens but cares. I never feel rushed and always know that I’m in the best hands! If I could give him 10 stars I would! I have to say, I honestly did not think I could get the same genuine healthcare anywhere else, than what Dr. Leon used to give me. He proved that to be incorrect!! Can u tell I love my Dr.
