I would never recommend this place for any medical supplies. Bought a bed that my mother used for 4 days until she passed away on the 4th day and they are saying it's Medicare that has a problem with it. Called Medicare they have nothing to do with a return.
The bed is still brand new. Again, do not use these people.

I dont know what to say BUT I WILL SAY THIS I HAVE A SCOOTER THAT SUPPOSE TO CAN USE FOR 6 HOURS MY SCOOTER SINCE I HAD IT FIRST DAY ONLY WORKS 20 TO 30 MINUTE'S AND IT REDUCE POWER AND THIS WAS BEFORE I USED THE SCOOTER OR THE SCOOTER WAS STORED WITH A APPROVED SCOOTER COVER THEY REFUSE TO FIX IT AND I DESPERATELY NEED IT BECAUSE IT GIVES ME SOMEWHAT OF INDEPENDENCE I DECIDED TO WRITE A REVIEW BC IM IN A GROCERY STORE CHARGING BC MY SCOOTER IS DEAD AFTER USING IT FOR 30 MINUTES IT'S ALMOST AS IF SOMEONE HAS A KILL SWITCH I WANT MY SCOOTER FIX THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE WHEN THE MANUAL STATES THE BATTERY HAS A LIFE OF 6 HOURS AND I CANT EVEN GO 30 MINUTES

This place is unorganized and their employees are always confused. It takes several calls with them and several orders from the Dr sent over, before they can get the equipment correct. It took them 29 days. Then they said the transport chair that my mom was receiving weighs only "19 pounds" which is less than the one she's been using. When the chair was delivered it felt just as heavy as her old one so I weighed it, twice. It's 30 pounds, not 19! I looked up the model number online and it says it weighs 30 POUNDS! The old one is actually lighter. She called Duramed thinking they accidentally sent the wrong one, but Renee insisted that this is the correct chair and that it weighs 19 pounds. They need to look into their equipment and change the description because it's wrong. It would be great if they could get their client info correct too but that's another review...

What a group of mean b_tches that work there.No one ever looks up from their screen.
No "hello", just "what the hell do you want?". Zero customer service at a time that most people are in some kind of pain and disorder. No offer to help with doctors notes that they require, a prescription for a hand split (that I should've bought on Amazon) wasn't enough. I had to wait 2 weeks until I could return and then they just pulled one off the rack. It's as if they want to screw you over. I hope they get in legal trouble over milking and ripping off the elderly which seems to be their specialty. They are all on commission so if you're not a large facility, don't expect any help. Go anywhere else but here.

Called about a new CPAP (my paid out of pocket was recalled)after speaking with my insurance to verify I’m covered for a new one after meeting my deductible. The woman on the phone was rude and barked that I am not eligible for a new machine until after 5 years. I explained that my insurance did not pay for the last one as it hadn’t been 5 years at that time so I am eligible and already verified this with my insurance. Said she would check on it. Called and left a nasty message on my VM that SHE was correct and I did not pay for it. I can call them back in February. 1st of all, I did not require that insurance had to pay for it although they would have. She called me a liar without using that word. Secondly, I am eligible. And SHE lost a sale. I stopped in to speak with someone about a new mask. Looked at me like I was some kind of lunatic when I showed her the message I rec’d and then stated that I needed to fill out new documents and a new prescription. My doctor had already submitted a new prescription. I know how this all works. Apparently they don’t. She then told me to call respiratory and schedule an appt. for a mask. I used to think so highly of this company but I will see if I can get my machine elsewhere or continue to use the recalled machine. Johnny was my first encounter years ago and I really liked him but now it’s a bunch of women that must hate their jobs (at least the two I spoke to recently). They do not need to worry about me bothering them again. I will let BCBS know how I was treated. No apology, no customer service skills, and no empathy whatsoever. You’re in the wrong line of business.

Terrible customer service. I needed a nebulizer machine so that my 8 month old son could have his breathing treatments. As I am getting my son out of the car the lady locks the door because they are having a “meeting”. The lady made eye contact with me as she did it! When did meetings become more important than patient care? Now I have to sit in the parking lot with a sick kid for an hour because this is the only durable medical store on the westbank.

This company is a joke. They called me 2 months ago to have a wheelchair pad delivered to me for my dad. I still have not received the pad but I would be willing to bet that they have already received the payment from medicare. I called them and I'm put on hold. Their customer rep comes on the phone and takes my information so she can determine what is up with the pad. She puts me back on hold where it sends me to an answering machine asking me to leave a message and they will call me back later. Never did return my call.

Poor customer service! So glad my insurance does not allow me to use Duramed any longer. I can see why, because again, today I had to deal with rudeness!
