My father was in this facility for many years. The care that he received was nothing short of exceptional in every way possible. The staff was caring and attentive to his needs throughout his entire stay. The facility truly became "home" to him and the staff and other residents a part of our extended family.

The part of his stay that had the most effect on me was the day that he was passing. The care that the staff provided to him that day allowed him to pass comfortably and with dignity. The staff explained everything that they were doing and allowed me to be an active part of the process and ask any questions necessary. Every time a staff member entered the room to provide care to my father, they spoke directly to him and told him what they would be doing despite him no longer being conscience. The dignity and respect they provided to him is beyond what words can express. After he passed, the staff allowed me to remain with him for as long as I wanted and didn't call the funeral home until I told them it was ok to. Them allowing me the time to sit with my father to say goodbye to the most amazing man I ever knew for the last time without feeling rushed or pressured is something that I will always be grateful for.

I will forever be thankful for the care that was provided to my father throughout his stay at this facility and would recommend it to anyone looking for a facility for their loved one.

The decision to place a loved one in a facility is very scary. My Uncle and my Mom were both in East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing. The care they got was wonderful. They were both treated with respect. You could see that everyone genuinely cared about their health and wellbeing. My Uncle was there for years, I wasn't sure how he would adapt, but he grew to enjoy his stay. He made friends there with both the residents and the staff. It was so nice to see that they had so many activities planned for the residents there. It got them out of their rooms, which improved their quality of life. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone. You can feel safe entrusting your loved one to their care.

I am so thankful for the care that was provided to my grandfather during his stay at this facility. He unfortunately had cancer and was not able to return home. The staff there were kind and so accommodating to him and our entire family. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

My mom was recently a patient at this facility for about 10 days and during that time someone stole her diamond anniversary ring. I've filed a verbal complaint and was told I'd receive a call back the next day but did not receive a call. I know it had to be stolen while she was sleeping as she wears 3 rings and the anniversary ring is always in between the two rings. The other two rings are on her finger but the middle ring is missing. This was slipped off her finger while she was sleeping. Unfortunately no one has responded to me with regards to my complaint. My mom is 95 and very upset as she's had this ring for over 40 years and it was a gift from my father. I suspect no one is going to complete a thorough investigation of this incident and she'll never see her ring again. I've not even been given any recourse about filing a legal complaint. Maybe he police station is my next stop, Don't send you parent or loved one here.

My mom's health has severely declined since being here. She could walk ten steps before being moved upstairs to the nursing home after rehab. She has a stroke and broke her hip. Unfortunately I don't have control of her care, her father does. My mother is young for being in a home. Not only did she stop walking, she can't extend her legs and has lost all of her top teeth. She was supposed to be assisted to eat, but they leave her food and take it away without help. And, she has had 3 blankets stolen or lost as well as clothing, art supplies, paint and brushes, and a ceramic deco paint set we never got to paint, because it disappeared unopened. I would not recommend this facility. There's one nurse on her side of the unit with PCAs. When she first arrived she wasn't diapered but like someone else mentioned in a review, she was calling for help for the bathroom but no one came. She's now in a diaper, and I'm not sure how often she is changed. It's been difficult watching her fail to thrive without help from staff. This place is just a "pretty face".

Do not allow your loved ones to stay here. No.matter.what.
My mother sat in her own feces for hours screaming for help.
I had to call there- I called my mom after complaint and telling them to attend to her. Heard the nurse say “why didn’t you use the call button!?”
My mom broke her left arm.
They put the call button on her left side.
I have no words.
Last week, she was left in chair for almost 5 hours.
Physical therapists have been awful-
It’s a nightmare. It may look nice & be nicely decorated but trust me. It’s not.

The facility is very nice but I feel they are too short staffed. Patients wait an inordinate amount of time after ringing for help. Example my husband rang to get out of his wheel chair and into bed due to pain. The aid came in and told him that when someone came back from break they would be right in. An hour later no one had come in. I rang and about 10 minutes later an aid came in. He finally got back into bed. This isn’t the first time that it took a long time to have someone answer. I get the feeling also that if something isn’t in their job description, it isn’t going to be addressed even by making the person who is responsible for it aware.

My grandfather was slowly dying and this place couldn't have been anymore accommodating allowing us to say our final goodbyes as a family. Drinks, lunch, dinner, anything we needed during his final days the staff was always checking in in him to ensure his time there was pleasant!
