I have received excellent care at the Bedford VA. I have a primary care doctor. I go there for dental ophthalmology, rheumatology, audiology, and pulmonary. it is nice to get early morning appointments. I have a handicap placard so it’s not too bad. You’re close to the building but otherwise it’s a long walk from the big parking lot. I asked once about why they don’t make more parking and the VA police says Bedford wants to leave more green space.

The Rehabilitation Floor saved my life and dignity 2 and a half years ago. And the Dental office, Doctors and Nurses are helping me now. They are so nice and Professional. I am lucky to have them. I am glad they no longer have the one deadbeat Hippie DOCTOR THEY HAD A FEW YEARS AGO. A complete turn around for the better.

This facility couldn’t be better. I see two doctors here regularly, and they are amazing. They have wonderful empathetic listening skills in addition to their expertise. I’ve been to multiple VA’s as I’ve moved a few times, and these doctors are by far some of the best.
The staff that schedules and does outside referrals is also excellent, prompt, and efficient. Unfortunately, I’ve had to use the urgent care clinic post 2020 a few times, and the doctors, nurses, and staff are caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. It’s an excellent facility.

I went hear twice (first shot and booster)for my Pfizer vaccine . They were fantastic. I was in there and out of there in 20 minutes. They couldn't have treated me better.

When I pulled up in the parking lot; a van bus pulled up behind my car and the driver asked if I wanted a ride to the door. I said wow this is better than hotel service. I gladly took the ride; even though the hospital was less than 100 yards from my car. It was very easy to check in, and find my way to the auditorium for my shot. They were so fast there was only one person ahead of me, and he was gone before I could say "wow". After a couple of quick questions, I went down and was given my shot. After the shot I waited 15 minutes and I was good to go.

I have to say I commend these people for their positive attitude, and their organization. It made me proud to be a veteran, and to be associated with people like these.

The main reason I love this place is: I've witnessed the countless lives of veterans be transformed through excellent care and phase based treatment, me being one of them. Children getting back their parents, (my daughter getting her father back), spouses getting their loved ones back, communities getting their members back. If you were to see so many successes happening before your eyes you'd surely love this place too.
Excellent veteran care.

The best care my husband has had after being in 2 other facilities. It may be institutional in its decor but the care and cleanliness of this facility is wonderful. Food is great, staff is caring
and my husband is always clean shaven and well dressed. Maybe not all units at the VA are this well maintained I don’t know but unit 62A is exemplary in late stage dementia care. Just sorry we did not go there sooner.
