I’d read negative things on-line about ER services in Palm Springs but when I had a cat bite get infected the staff at the Eisenhower Urgent Care in Palm Springs took excellent care of me. I went in early on a Sunday morning and was seen in five minutes. Everyone was knowledgeable and professional and I was out the door - with a tetanus shot and a prescription for antibiotics and a pain reliever - within 30 minutes. I highly recommend this facility.

Husband went in on a Friday mid morning to be evaluated for bacterial bronchitis. The process was smooth and efficient. Saw Dr Z ? Great patient relational skills, listened to us, didn’t repeat unnecessary tests, ie Covid, Influenza A and B as I had done them at home being a nurse. Agreed with our thoughts on treatment and swiftly processed us.

The staff at this facility are always wonderful. Kind , professional and always have a thorough plan to address whatever is ailing me. I’m so grateful to them. The front desk. The nurses. The PAs and the doctors. I’ve never had an experience there less than perfect. How lucky we are to have such a great urgent care here in PS.

Usually, we are taken care nicely. Today 9/11/24 I took my dad due to arthritis pain and swelling. It took the supervisor to attend on our needs to feel respected and welcome. John the nurse was pretty nice too. Receptionist are on their phone and talking a lot instead of attending into their patient needs.

This is my second time here. First of all, it's always busy. And that's understandable. But the lady in the front office (dawnese). Need a new job. Cause she obviously doesn't have any people skills. Rude demeanor, her looks are very disrespectful, i got to the front, and she just starred at me like I was dumb. Didn't greet me or even asked me how she could help me... just gave a dead stare.. she needs to get retrained..

one of the nurses at this facility is extremely rude and does not treat patents at all making them feel like they are lying about their pain . female white nurse with light colored hair i think named smith or something, nurse practitioner

not just to me but to my family members and friends have had the same type of rude encounter with her, where she undervalues patients and just says “well i guess i can do a culture” of some sort then send you off.
went to check for strep just to get meds. not only was i not given any sort of medication but when she was evaluating my throat and neck she only looked at my CHIN!! waste of money and resources please reevaluate her or send her off because this has been a reoccuring issue 🙁 i still dont have meds and my symptoms are worsening

The best! When everyone else dismissed me, he took full care of me. Bloodwork, shot, antibiotics when the others did nothing. He is fantastic and truly professional at his job. I praise him.

DOES NOT BILL AS URGENT CARE! Please be careful going here. Despite putting itself out as an urgent care facility, Eisenhower will bill you for primary care services. We came here because our insurer has a contract with this place to provide urgent care services and listed it as an in-network urgent care provider on its website. But because Eisenhower’s practice is to not bill as urgent care, we would have been subject to out of network billing & deductibles. Thankfully, we figured that out before receiving care, and left to find another facility. Please double check before you use this place.
