I recently visited your clinic and was pleased with the care provided by my doctor. However, I was disappointed with the professionalism of the nursing staff. While I was waiting, the receptionist was on the phone speaking what appeared to be a personal conversation in a foreign language, which did not seem work-related. Additionally, both nurses were engaged in a discussion about their weekend plans instead of focusing on patient care.

I believe professionalism and attentiveness are essential in a healthcare setting, and I hope this concern can be addressed to ensure a better experience for all patients in the future.

I was just turned away the morning of my appointment that I’ve been waiting a month for, for them not being in network with my insurance. This despite their office calling me yesterday to confirm the appointment, sending me multiple emails to confirm the appointment without a hint that they weren’t going to be able to see me, and their clinic name and phone number being listed on my health insurance card.

It's a good place for people who like to be forced to do things against their will, like with me if I'm not sick and there's nothing wrong with me I don't see the point of seeing my doctor just to fill 1 medication, not just that my doctor never puts in my refills when I ask for them even if I show up for an appointment just because there's 1 refill left and that's dumb because people usually ask for refills when there's on 1 refill left so that they don't run out of medicine all and all I don't like this place because they don't let you take care of yourself, the way I was raised in the children prison system called group homes in California is if you are at perfect health and nothing is wrong you should see your doctor once a year.

I lived in Texas, Utah, California and Idaho and so far only California is stupid and dumb, I never had any problems with any of my doctors but when it comes to V street and Mai woods I just get that feeling she doesn't care and wants to make your life harder by practically refusing to let you take care of your health the way you want to take care of your health especially when it comes to refills oh my God this is the worst doctor I have ever had in my whole entire life when it comes to refills I was on medication for asthma, allergies, heartburn, and to help me sleep but my doctor refused to put any prescriptions to the point I just said forget it and stopped asking for refills on everything except for 1 prescription because my doctor is ignorant when it comes to refills

My doctor was okay but I feel she needs to work on being more workable. I rather go somewhere else because how are you gonna tell me that I took one thing and that was in the passed without getting out your chair talking to me. So yea I rather talking to an actual doctor. Again Elica is okay but I like kaiser better, sorry. If they see this I'm not tripping ✌🏾

They have the worst service. I booked an appointment, but when I showed up for my appointment, the lady says we should reschedule it. She said we must be there 30 minutes before the appointment. If that is the case, they must tell us when booking the appointment. The appointment was just for a pill that I have been taking for the last 8 years and it needs refills. I need the medication ASAP. Now I have to wait for another month to see the doctor. It is insane.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in healthcare in my life. I requested a medical doctor when I made my appointment, and was scheduled with a Physicians Assistant (Behang Mai-woods)... When I arrived and was taken back to the exam room, the nurse took my blood pressure, then I had to wait there for 20 minutes for Mai-woods to come in, and she didn't even apologize for the wait. I made this appointment for my annual physical however she did absolutely nothing. Didn't ask me a single question regarding my health or if I drink alcohol/etc, she didn't check anything on my body, didn't even ask if I had any concerns. Didn't even ask me if I am feeling okay overall. I don't even think she looked up from her clipboard at me once. I had to ask HER to do bloodwork which should be routine/standard, especially considering I take medication which effects my blood creatinine levels. When I asked her to do blood work because I take a specific medication, she asked me what the bloodwork should be testing? Are you kidding me? You're a PA (physicians assistant) and are treating patients, you should very well know what a blood work should be done for an extremely common blood pressure medication. I, a 25 year old student, should not have to tell you. This is why I asked for a medical doctor in the first place, yet Elica ignored my request and assigned me a PA.

I then asked for my prescriptions to be refilled (I just transferred over from Kaiser) and gave them the detailed dose and everything I needed. She said "let me go ask" and then disappeared for another 20 minutes... and she never came back. She sent the nurse back in who gave me some paperwork and told me I was done. I was so insanely confused as to what was going on. When I walked out to reception and stood in front of the desk, the receptionist was doodling on some post-it notes and didn't even look up at me while I was standing there. I had to ask her, "am I good to go?" and she just said "yeah you're done" without even looking up from her doodling.

Lo and behold, I go to Walgreens the next day and find out Mai-woods only wrote me a prescription for one of the two medications I am taking. I then called Elica to ask them to request the refill from Mai-woods for the prescription I'm missing. 10!!!!! DAYS LATER and I still haven't heard from Elica. I call them and they say the prescription still hasn't been sent to my pharmacy. The representative on the phone seemed like she had no idea about anything, and was extremely rude and kept cutting me off as well. Absolutely ridiculous and the worst healthcare service I have received ANYWHERE in my LIFE. I literally received better care when I was going to the FREE CLINIC at my university and at Planned Parenthood. I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs.

If I could give -5 I would. A complete waist of time. Dr. Mai-Wood looks and acts like a doctor but is far from it. Very disappointed with Elica Health’s standards for patient care. If you need medical attention stay away from the V st. location try your luck with Elica somewhere else.😁 so shortly after posting this review on the last experience I had with Elica Health, Dr. Mai-Wood did reach out to me later the same evening of my visit & was able to provide the information I needed “thank you” also I did receive a call from HR “patient advocate” to follow up about my experience. “Thank you Elica Health for making me feel like you do care about your patients”
