Probably the worst urgent care I’ve been to. Waited almost 2 hours and the brown girl at the front that had blonde hair today had such a BAD attitude. She shouldn’t be working in healthcare with her attitude. Just the sleazy she spoke to people was unacceptable. If i could give this place a 0 i would. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The receptionists at this urgent care are rude unprofessional, and coming across as annoyed when speaking to patients. A more respectful and courteous attitude is needed. I recommend retraining or replacing the staff for a better patient experience.

I had a so so experience at the urgent care. I ended up getting the medication I needed for pneumonia. But the russian x-ray girl was just learning how and another guy with an accent was using me as a test subject to see if she remembered what to do. Well... she didn't. So she ended up taking 6 x-rays instead of the two chest views needed. (Extra radiation for me at no extra charge. )
Other than that things went as well as could be expected.
The staff were not over the top nice but they were okay I guess.

Very bad! There is racial discrimination here! People who can't speak English are not allowed to see the doctor! I waited in line for 2 hours and finally it was my turn, but I was told that I couldn't see the doctor if I couldn't speak English. Even if I used a mobile phone translator or called an English-speaking friend, it wouldn't work. Someone who can speak English must be there! Too much! I said I can speak some simple English, but the receptionist said no. Do I have to take an English test to see an emergency doctor? This is racial discrimination!

Had TB Test done, I wasn’t told about the importance of coming back within the 72. So now I had to pay another $45 to get another test, I arrived 15 minutes late after the set time. If I had known I would have been there to avoid that additional payment. I tried explaining to the Doctor and he was rude, as well as the medical staff that gave me the initial test. I understand stand cdc guidelines, but they should tell patients about the time not just the day.

I took my child to Elk Grove Urgent Care, waited two hours, and when it was finally our turn, the front desk told me “You must speak English to receive treatment.” This is completely unreasonable and possibly illegal.

As a healthcare provider, they should offer basic translation services or at least allow patients to use translation tools, instead of outright refusing non-English-speaking patients. This practice is highly unfriendly and discriminatory against those who are not fluent in English.

If you are not fluent in English, I do not recommend coming here. Instead, go to a larger healthcare provider like Sutter Health, Kaiser, or Dignity Health, where they at least provide language support.

The service and care was pretty fast, the staff was extremely nice and professional. I gave it two stars because of it cleanliness. This is a place where people come to get care and it’s not clean like a medical place should be.
I was only able to post a couple of pictures because it is a medical facility. But the whole place needs some deep cleaning and TLC. The room I was in was disgusting, there were pubic hairs on the table and floor. It was filthy and I didn’t even want to sit in the chair.
The restroom needs some deep cleaning and update as well. I would assume that every room gets somewhat cleaned and sanitized after each patient. I’ve been to Sutter and it has never been this dirty or close to it.

I visited the clinic this morning (it's a Saturday). According to google, they open at 9 AM and I was not sure if they let people in ahead of the actual time they open, I'm not familiar with how clinics/urgent cares work cause I just moved here from a different country. We arrived at 8:50 AM and I think there were around 4-6 patients already in the lobby. As soon as I went in, the receptionist asked for my insurance and ID to line it up among the other patients' cards, then she gave me forms to fill out.

Before going, I looked up the reviews for this clinic and there were mixed reviews, and I'll discuss some of the common concerns other patients had in comparison to MY experience.

1. Wait time.
-Idk if the day & time I was there were big factors, but my wait time was pretty reasonable(if not quick), considering there were several patients ahead of me.

Arrived: 8:50 am
Seen by MA: 9:42 am
Discharged by doctor: 10:10 am

Again, since I'm just new here, idk how long urgent cares usually take, but my wait time experience was good and I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer than I did.

2. Staff attitude.
-Everyone I encountered were really nice.

3. Medical care
-MA and doctor were both nice. I was comfortable during the visit, they listened to all that I had to say, and my concern was addressed. Appreciate the care they provided, and I felt reassured that I'd be feeling better.

4. Facility quality
-It's a normal clinic, nothing fancy, but sufficient. I saw a review about it needing a bit of TLC. I wasn't paying too much attention to everything around me, but there's nothing I saw that's like "in your face"-concerning. But yeah, maybe normal wear and tear.

5. Cost
-I have Anthem-Blue under Medi-cal, so I don't have co-pay. Can't say anything about the cost of co-pay or out-of-pocket, sorry.

Overall, I'm thankful for my smooth experience. To be honest, I felt a bit discouraged to go cause of the reviews, but I decided to go since this is the closest option for my insurance. To those who are also hesitant, don't be discouraged and consider giving it a shot, specially if you don't have many options. See it for yourself, and then once there decide if you'd be comfortable there or if going to a different place would be better for you.

I hope the clinic had already addressed the concerns of the bad reviews(that my smooth experience is not just by chance), so that future visits would be satisfying for all patients.
