Perhaps they are just extremely understaffed but I went here one evening and 3 hours later not one patient went back to be seen by a doctor. I left for the night to try to get some sleep and get medical assistance in the morning. I saw many other people walk out the door as well. The other time I went here they completely forgot about me and I had to call for the nurse to unhook me so I could go home and stop listening to the guy on the other side of the curtain throw his guts up. Half the staff isn't very empathetic at all and the hospital just has this unsettling, cramped vibe. Recommend going to the ER in Auburn instead. This one sucks.

Been waiting 4 hours, no one can tell you when you may be seen. My husband has an allergy no one put an allergy band on him. I have asked, no response. This is not worth any stars. Would not post until I gave one star, can it get any more incompetent?

1 star because I am required to give a rate- but would definitely say a 0 5 hours and nothing 7 beds is all they say they have period. Awful.
And when I complained charge nurse told me to drop my attitude. Awful

just left after waiting 5 hours in the dirty waiting room because a woman was GASPING for breath and FELL OUT of her wheel chair and WE had to alert the staff who LOOKED at her for a minute before putting her back in the chair where they CONTINUED to look at her gasping for breath before finally wheeling her back. go to montgomery. anywhere else.

This place is awful ! Rude people . No compassion! Here with a friend and have been here all night . While it’s a little quiet someone could get a mop and broom ! Wouldn’t bring my dog here

I am so impressed with this ER department! They are very attentive and caring to all their patients. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone of my family or friends!

This place is just emberassing... [Especially for my chronic illness & auto-immune disorder folks,] just make the drive to FED or even the Alexander City ER. Despite the drive, you'll at least actually be taken seriously and will recieve care in a more timely manner.

My husband had been sick for a few days then his eyes & skin turned yellow so we went to EAMC ER after waiting 7 hrs an the people ahead of us kept growing an they kept picking & choosing who could see the dr we left those women should not be in that job their not Dr's they have put my husband's life at risk they passed my husband up for people that came in hrs after he did only ones that got in is ones they chose to let in one woman that came in right after us was in severe pain an they made her sit there just like us didn't do nothing to help her at all not even a kind word 7 hrs wasted an still have no idea what's wrong with my husband we will tell everyone we know or can write to GO ON DOWN THE ROAD IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!!! WORSE ER I HAVE EVER BEEN IN & WE WERE TOLD IT WAS A GOOD PLACE TO GO "WRONG"
sorry I couldn't give them less than one star for they don't deserve even one star & the women that worked the ER needs to be moved to housekeeping they don't like people
