I will say the type of counseling that she gives is to help you work through the issues you are currently struggling with and help you to be able to navigate life independently without being dependent on counseling. After a few sessions with Laurie we were able to pin point the issues and work to a solution which in turn lead to me resolving the issues and no longer needing to continue counseling.
